Reasons why I tune in to So You Think You Can Dance on both Wednesday and Thursday nights...1. The dancing. I want to see who got what style and if he / she can pull it off.
2. The judges. Sans Mary's screams and stupid fake-outs, I find the judges rather informative in their critique. Unlike some other shows... *cough* Idol.
3. Cat Deeley and her outfits. Cat is a refreshing host: truly concerned for the SYTYCD hopefuls, genuinely excited for the guest performers, and always ready to engage with the judges.
And then there's her outfits. She's the first thing we see on Wednesday nights and she does her walk of fame (or shame) through the dancers on Thursday nights. I'm pretty sure that each time we get our first glimpse of Cat, we can't help but critique her outfit and hair.

Her empathy for the contestants makes her very likable. I really don't care what she's wearing.

Yes, Cat has some crazy outfits - and she pulls most of them off with style - but when she put on Twitch's glasses and grill the other night, that was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time! Where are the pics of that moment?!!?

The only one I truly despised is that tuxedo one. It appears they glued it together at the last second and it was crooked.

Kat is a wonderful host. She's genuinely warm and her rapport with the contestants is refreshing to watch. Contrast her style with the awkwardness of Mario Lopez on that Randy Jackson dance show! No one else comes close.

Thank you for giving me a place to vent about Ms. Deeley's outfits! She's an attractive woman but most of the outfits she gets sewn into (surely she can't simply put these dresses on normally) do nothing for her - the dresses themselves are often downright UGLY and they do nothing to flatter her less then endowed figure. Compared to some of the gorgeous costumes the dancers get to wear, seems like she's being royally screwed! If the dancer's costumes can make the slight shapes of a Katee or Courtney look curvy and sexy surely there's hope for poor Cat! Pathetic outfits aside, she comes across incredibly as down-to-earth nice and is an excellent host for the show.
