I don't know. A lot of the houseguests on Big Brother 10 are tools just because they're tools, right? Oh, sure ... Jessie in particular. But several are showing toolish and even foolish behaviors. Sometimes you really have to wonder if they've ever really watched the show.I'm not saying I'd be a good hamster on the show. I prefer my position of fly on the wall. If you've been following the feeds reports, you're aware that Michelle won the Power of Veto. She didn't use it and the nominations remain Steven and Dan. Steven is the target mainly due to Jessie's overblown ego and immaturity. However, most of the others are on board with a Steven eviction this week. Dan has made more efforts to get along with everyone and help with household duties.
So, why am I saying that I see "toolish" behavior? Well, take Jerry. He's a 75-year-old man. Maybe it's just me (but it's not, because the other houseguests are reacting the same way), but he's really starting to come across as a dirty old man kind of guy. Perhaps he's just trying to fit in with the younger crowd, but he's creeping them out instead. I don't think it's really necessary that he gives them talks on how to masturbate. If he starts to wear a trench coat and knee socks with garters, I'm so out of there! Heck, he's even creeping out Memphis.
Although Angie is a bit of an outcast from many in the house, she's pretty in with Memphis. They were talking about targeting April and Libra down the line. Memphis thinks they can get Keesha in with them. I think that Brian might have been right about Memphis being the most underrated player. He gets along with everyone.
That's opposed to Ollie who's trying to get along with everyone but spills too many beans. He lets himself get caught in situations which end up coming across as deceitful. The prime example would be the Brian eviction revolution. But another recent event in the house which might return to bite his butt is that he told Libra that Steven tried to start a movement to backdoor her last week. When she asked about reaction, he said no one wanted her out. First off, there are several including Ollie who pondered the backdoor last week. Had Ollie not been a bit toolish, he wouldn't have mentioned it to her at all.
In house crumbs:
- April told Libra that Ollie is too shy and his parents would freak if they had sex. (Then why did they already do the act and who does she think she's fooling?)
- Renny continues to bake and cook for others even though she's on slop this week. I reluctantly admit I like her a lot more than I thought I would.
- Libra thought Ollie shouldn't eat any of the cake Renny baked in some sort of solidarity with April who's on slop. April said he can eat whatever he wants. Libra definitely has some control issues.
- Jerry continues to overstep personal and sexual boundaries best not crossed with some of the girls. He hopped into bed with April this morning. Creep out time!
- He also told Angie she looked cute this morning and kissed her on the cheek. Perhaps an innocent gesture, but with all of his sex talk ... creep out time!
- The houseguests had no water in the house this morning. Repair time.
- They made a slip and slide for the yard. Now some are bearing new bruises.
- Angie and Memphis are making aluminum foil swords and armor for a duel later.

Jessie is a huge tool for putting Steven up just because he didn't come see his HoH room. Boo freakin' hoo. Dan is more of a threat, but I guess he's turned on the Dr. Will charm and that will carry him to the end. Stupid hamsters! When will they learn???

Jerry isn't that bad. He may make comments, but the others are making just as much if not more. Just because he's 75, that doesn't mean he can't talk about sex. If it creeps you out Jackie, maybe you should revisit it when you're 75. I for one, think he's great, though my favorite is Angie. Some in the house, namely Libra and April, talk badly about him all the time, and just 20 minutes ago, Keesha and Steven were "Disgusted" because he wanted to cut his hair, but you think Jerry is disgusting? Reality Check time. He's a 75 year old former Marine. Of course he can talk that talk. He's also sociable. Are you in the Keesha camp? Notice Dan and Angie have no problems with him. Maybe it's just showing their maturity and their acceptance of others.
As for Dan and Angie, they are my two favorites with Memphis Bob as the alternate. I wasn't sure about Dan at the beginning but he's proven to be an honest and upright, moral man. As a fellow Catholic, it isn't difficult to like him. As for Angie, she's great. Mature, Smart, and doesn't take things to seriously. Memphis isn't too bad either.

ps-its unfortunate that angie is in that alliance, as she said to memphis, shell put dan out next even if she doesnt want to...if she gets hoh, libra and april are up. period. Angie Memphis and Dan, with Jerry and Renny, would have made a "good guy" alliance I could cheer for!

I agree wholeheartedly that Jessie is a tool. I can't stand him. It showed his true colors when he was showing off his hoh room and was so proud of his pictures. I think Memphis and Steven are great. It is too bad they are going to evict Steven. When is "America" going to start getting a voice because the houseguests are making stupid decisions about who to vote out

Great post Jackie, as always. I truly believe Jerry is just trying to fit in with the "babes in woods". I'm willing to bet he has NEVER spoken like this with his kids, grandkids or great grandkids, or for that matter his wife of 54 years. He is trying to fight the odds that as the oldest bb hamster ever, he can make it work.
Renny has my sympathy also, it's not easy competing with 20 somethings that are still wet behind the ears.
I'm enjoying this season so far, but PLEASE, make pinhead wear a shirt, until he's ousted next week!!

It would be like talking to my grandpa about sex and that is just wrong! I like Jerry but he needs to try to find another way to fit in with the younger people. Sex isn't the way!

I think that what April and Ollie have been doing is stuff short of actual insertion and therefore she (and he) don't consider it having full on "sex".
