Big Brother 10: Live feeds report - July 20 - VIDEOS

Renny is all dolled up in the Big Brother 10 houseAlthough I don't have a favorite hamster in the Big Brother 10 house, I will give this current group of houseguests kudos for being more entertaining on the live feeds than past seasons. Other seasons they've sat around being bored which, in turn, bored me as I watched the feeds. This group comes up with some sort of group activity almost every night.

The nominations are in, the Power of Veto comp is done and over, and the PoV meeting has been held. For extreme spoilers for both the Sunday and Tuesday shows, read on past the jump.

Since the show does recaps at its start, I'll follow their lead. Oh, not total recaps, mind you -- just the important stuff. Jessie, the head of household, nominated Dan and Steven for eviction. Steven is his target, apparently because he feels Steven has disrespected him. Michelle won the Power of Veto. This afternoon was the PoV meeting. Michelle didn't use the veto. So, the nominations remain Steven and Dan. Steven is still the target.

Yesterday afternoon was a bevy of minor brouhahas in the house. Libra was still upset because Jerry yelled at her for blaming "the old folks" for her team losing the food comp. Both Renny and Jerry were on Libra's team in the comp. They lost and now April, Renny, Jerry, Libra, Memphis, and Keesha are on slop for the week. Libra claims that she only meant the two older folks should have been split between the teams. Yeah, right. I saw her steaming right after the comp and it was exactly the way Jerry took it.

Although there was discontent betwixt the hamsters throughout the afternoon, they once again planned some activity for the evening. In the past they came up with sock puppet theater (part of the house, anyway), sack and three-legged races in the yard, and pool tournaments. In each activity except the sock puppets, the entire house has been involved. It's refreshing as a viewer to watch them get together and have a good time without going all sleazy with orgies in the hot tub.

Last night's event was a BB at Night show with Renny starting out the show dancing as a flapper. There was an infomercial with a not-so-ambiguously-gay-duo, Dan was the show host, and there was a love trio of Ollie, April, and Steven with Libra acting as a show psychiatrist. At the end of this entry there are videos of the events. It's a bit odd, but definitely better than them sitting around whining they're bored.

But first ... in house crumbs:

  • Steven ran around naked. He still thinks he's a dead houseguest walking (this is before the PoV meeting) and I don't think that really helped his case.
  • Keesha, Ollie, April, and Steven continue to grow leery of Libra. Steven plans to use Libra's controlling ways and attitude to try to get her on the block in his place. (Nope, that didn't work out, did it?)
  • After the show, they all joked about how it will be all over YouTube. Well, of course!
  • Michelle polished Jessie's nails and he reciprocated.
  • Ollie and April took their showmance even further under the cover of blankets. I can't see his Pentecostal preacher Dad being too pleased with the latest. If they didn't do the deed, they came close. From their conversation afterwards, it's a done deed. April told Ollie she wants to get more freaky with him and he told her "not until the sequester house." Too late, Ollie. I'm sure your parents are appalled.
  • The plan remains to get rid of Steven this week.
  • Although Steven really worked the putting Libra on the block angle, no one seems to be buying it. They're all pretty much anti-Libra but no one thinks it's a good idea at this time.
  • The others seem to respect Dan more for sticking with his alliance and voting to keep Brian than they do Steven's turncoat act on his alliance.
  • After the PoV meeting, Michelle cried. She apparently was very torn and knew she did what the house wanted.
  • Steven and Dan are taking it okay. Steven knows he's the target and says he'll still try his best to stay although the odds are against it.

Now, as promised, here are some of the videos of their "show" last night likely to not air in its entirety on the real show.
