This is Spoilers Anonymous, a weekly column here at TV Squad where we'll supply you with the dirt on some of the more popular shows on the air. We'll never put spoilers up here on the main page in order to help the reformed stay unspoiled. This week we have: 24, Burn Notice, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, NCIS, Pushing Daisies, Smallville and Ugly Betty. (SPOILERS FOLLOW!)


24

  • Because actress Mary Lynn Rajskub is about to give birth in real life, her 24 character, Chloe, will be relieved by her ex, Morris O'Brian. He'll make his first appearance around the midday point. Chloe will need to leave the office for a few hours because of her 4-year-old child. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
  • Episodes 13 and 14 will introduce new characters. One will be Greg Seaton, an edgy CEO in his 40s who will appear in several episodes. Also in these episodes are Agent Reynolds, the commander of the Critical Incident Rescue Group at the White House, and Richard Chapman, a weapons engineer in his late 30s working for a corporation. Burn Notice
  • In episode 2.05, "Scatter Point," Trevor, a 30-year-old man who's just been paroled from prison, asks Michael for help when his old boss demands Trevor participates in a robbery. [Source: TV Squad]
Desperate Housewives
  • One of the male characters (old or new) used to have intense fixations on a person. Doctors treated him and he now has to report weekly, take his meds and not move too far away. [Source: TV Squad]

Grey's Anatomy
  • Cristina's new love interest will be a surgeon who arrives at Seattle Grace fresh from a tour of duty in Iraq. [Source: TV Guide]
How I Met Your Mother
  • Next season, the show will explore Barney's feelings for Robin. [Source: KorbiTV]
NCIS
  • Edward Kiley, a married senator and old friend of Gibbs', asks the NCIS team to investigate the death of Lt. Commander Megan McLellan, a woman with whom he was having a clandestine affair. Kiley is afraid that he will be accused of the murder and that his political career, including an energy bill coming before Congress, will be put in jeopardy. [Source: TV Squad]
Pushing Daisies
  • Word is Ned has two half siblings who happen to be identical twin boys. [Source: KorbiTV]
  • In "Bzzzzzzz!" Dusty Fitz, a neurotic man in his 20s, hires Emerson to find out who killed his wife Kentucky. The latter was the leading sales representatives at Betty's Bees and was found stung to death. Chuck goes undercover as a salesgirl to help solve the crime. [Source: TV Squad]
Smallville
  • Oliver Queen will be poisoned during episode "Toxic." In episode 8.04, freak-of-the-week Melissa will has her sight set on Clark and even kisses him. [Source: KryptonSite]
Ugly Betty
  • Gio is slated to appear in only one more episode. Henry's time on the show may also be cut short since the actor portraying the character has been cast in a midseason show. Not all is lost for Betty's heart since actor Val Emmich has been cast in the recurring role of Jesse, a potential new love interest for our braces-boasting gal. [Source: TV Guide]
