It's always hard to get into a new season of Big Brother. While this season is no exception, I have to say that even now I'm finding it more to my liking than last season's sexual attempt flop. It's actually a good thing these hamsters don't have previous relationships.

It hails back to the first season in that aspect. But the more things change, the more they remain the same. And I still can't spill the spoilers before the jump. Read on past the jump for show spoilers and zany antics. Oh, I must be losing it. Zany antics indeed. Please forgive me.

I already reported the most important news in yesterday's feed report -- Jerry won the Power of Veto, used the veto to take Jessie off the block, put Brian up for eviction in his place. It's now Renny and Brian on the block with the house target on Brian's back. UPDATE 7/15 - We were duped. When the feeds went live Sunday night, the camera focused on the PoV necklace hanging from Jerry's picture. I feel so stupid to have fallen for it. Normally we don't have the comp completed days ahead of seeing the results. Jessie won PoV, saved himself and Jerry put Brian up on the block with Renny. My apologies.

I have to vent about the live feeds for just a moment. I've watched them every season since the first year. This has also irked me each season. There are four live feeds and sometimes they each have different content. More than likely we end up with two separate views of the same room. Then, other times, as you see from my quad cam view below, we get four feeds which are really only two views. Quit that, BB, it annoys the heck out of me.


That said, here are the latest happenings from the Big Brother 10 house:

• Ollie said this week's eviction votes will be done live on Wednesday's show. I don't know how he knows it. But if that's the case, that's going to be one busy little Diary Room.
• April and Ollie are continuing the showmance but not quite as hot and heavy.
• Renny has been giving shout-outs to every obscure group in the world including her Asian friends at the nail salon.
• The other houseguests continue to mock Renny. She's just so darned mockable.
• Jerry still feels Brian betrayed and used him.
• Angie cried because Jerry called her a psycho. Jerry apologized and claimed he didn't mean it in a nasty way. Um, okay.
• Steven is planning to do a "Slopformercial" on tonight's Big Brother After Dark show on ShoToo.
• Memphis, Steven, Dan, Brian, and Angie had fun with sock puppets doing a mock eviction of Brian (see video below -- crude language alert).
• The others got ticked off about the sock puppet show. Oh, geez.
  
• Keesha got yelled at by the BB voice for talking about show production. Her crime? She mentioned how they knew long before the key bit that they were chosen. Well, duh. It's obvious each year that the receiving of the keys is a highly edited and produced bit!
• It seems the majority of the girls are having their periods. I know, perhaps that's too much information.
• Brian thinks Keesha's voice is "like chalk on a chalkboard." He should have to hear it on the live feeds. I'm waiting for my neighbors to call the cops when she shrieks.
• For the most part, it's been a quiet house today. With the show scheduling like last season, we're in the doldrums until after the eviction. As I submit this, BB has given them pizza in the yard during an outdoors lockdown.
