I have watched ER since the very first season. The 9th season has special mamories for me because it is the last season my son and I watched together before he moved away. He still watches ER, as do I, and we discuss the shows after we have seen them.

This was about the time that NBC decided that it wasn't in their best interests to repeat the entire season of ER in reruns any more. So if you missed an episode, you need the DVD box set to catch them all.

I love medical dramas. My very favorite was St. Elsewhere. I almost had my 3rd child at home because I didn't want to miss St. Elsewhere that night. ER is a favorite now.

My wife and I are expecting our new daughter in 3 weeks (July 31st due date). ER is one of her favorite shows. She missed most of this season as she was simply exhausted and went to bed early. The birthing rooms (where we will be from admission to delivery) and the patient rooms (where she will be for at least 48 hours) have DVD players. This would be a wonderful gift for her to enjoy! And what better place to get caught up on ER than in a hospital!
