About SAG and a strike: There were TEN "final offers" during the WGA strike, offered by the same people now negotiating with the Screen Actors Guild. They are *negotiating* and part of that is maintaining a public perception of strength. Unless either side does something stupid, their issues will be resolved no later than August 15th. It's very doubtful that SAG's membership would even approve a strike. There's very little enthusiasm for another debilitating work stoppage in this town. The fact that the AFTRA contract was ratified speaks volumes about that.
