As TV fans, we all dream of being able to communicate with our favorite stars (Taylor Kitsch, why aren't you answering my letters?), but now AOL TV is going to make it happen. In a new video interview series called Outside the Box, stars from the hottest shows will sit down together to answer questions submitted by you, the fans. Will a on-again, off-again couple finally get together? Boxers or briefs? What is the smoke monster? You ask, and they'll answer.
First up in our series will be the stars of Scrubs, which, in case you haven't heard, is moving from NBC to ABC. Shows almost never jump networks (Buffy switching from The WB to UPN is a rare example), so it's great to see a veteran show with a healthy fanbase getting a second chance. And I'm especially happy that Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence will get the chance to end the series his way -- or even extend it to a ninth season.
Stars Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison will be going "Outside the Box," so we need your questions! Submit them by Tuesday, July 15 and be sure to include your first name and your city and state. Now, wanna play Jiggly Ball?

Looking to the future:
Regardless of your involvement, do you think 'The Next Generation' is an exciting idea? Or do you worry it might just be a re-hash?
And looking back to the past:
Did you ever get close to getting David Cross as Tobias Funke on the show or did it fall through?
And to cover all bases, what's your favourite episode/plot and why? :)

Zach, I've always loved the music on Scrubs, especially the song "Hey Julie" by Faces of Wayne. Did you guys name Mandy Moore's character Julie just so you could use the song or did you find it after she was already named?

Zach, I've heard you're a Colin Hay fan, and he's been on the show before. Will he be making any more appearances any time soon?

Zach, if the show is picked up for a second season on ABC, I think I've seen comments from you that the upcoming ABC season would probably be your last, so what direction do you see the show going in? Do you think somebody else will inherit your "inner monologues", or would it switch around like the 'his and her' episodes, or would they drop it completely and not rely on monologues at all?
Also, if you're not on the main cast after the first ABC season, would you be open to making the occasional guest star appearance or would you be leaving forever?
My city and state? Canberra, A.C.T. and that's in Australia, guess that rules me out for any prizes huh?

I have always wanted to know what you guys considered your favorite guest star and who you would have loved to have guest star but never got the chance in the 7 seasons that have aired so far?
I know that Zach's worked on directing a lot of different episodes, but have either Sarah or Donald ever tried or thought about branching off outside of the acting department?
What is each of your favorite fantasy sequence?

Scrubs is by far my favorite sitcom (if not overall show). I love the actors. The writers are amazing. I'm so glad to hear that it will be back again. I wasn't ready to say goodbye to my favorite cast of characters just yet.

you get to audition for scrubs? Does the cast want to extend beyond

I understand that some Sesame Street characters filmed scenes for Scrubs recently. I want to know how this is going to work. Will this be another JD fantasy or something much, much weirder.

Do you ever get freaked out thinking about how obsessed some of the fans of the show can be? (just look at this forum (http://www.fanpop.com/spots/scrubs/forum/post/8032) for proof, I'm the user tushtush) :D
Do you ever think it's a little sad and geeky that so many people let the show rule their lives?
Has the move to ABC changed the atmosphere on set at all? If so, how?
What's it like filming in the Bahamas?
Who's getting married in the Bahamas, I have to know!? :D
To Zach: Do you really run your MySpace, or is it just management and you just writing the occasional blog?
Is there ever tension while filming between Bill and Christa if they've had a fight at home, or anything?
Have you ever cried watching back on the show?
Do you ever feel disappointed looking back on some of your performances?
Have you ever heard of 'Scrubs Slash'? (I hope you haven't, it's the worst.)
Do bad reviews and comments ever get to you?
To Sarah: What's the song that you use for your crying scene? I can't find what it is anywhere!
To Sarah: Do you really have fingertoes?
To Donald: What's with the mole? :P
To Donald: Does your sweat really smell like eggs?
To Sarah: Is it true that you and Judy didn't get on when Scrubs when it started?
What happened to Jaime Moyer? She just disappeared!
What's your favourite His or Her story?

Do you know if there is any chance of a special appearence of Hugh Laurie (as a crossover) or Hugh Jackman in the series?
Do you have any idea why the show doesn't get the audience or the awards (like EMMY) it deserves?

Oh, wow, this sounds like a bit of fun.
Zach,
As a fellow man I MUST ask; how do Sarah Chalke's breasts feel? It's for scientific research or something. Also, will there be any more lesbian scenes in the upcoming season? That's more for personal reasons.
Sarah,
Are you the one who came up with the "Frick" thing? I think I read about it somewhere but I'm too lazy to google. Also, what's it like kissing another girl? ="D
Allons-y!

To any and all cast members -
Will the episodes that were not shown due to the WGA strike ever be aired?
When, if ever, are we going to learn the Janitor's name?
To Zach -
If the series continues past an eighth season, will you be renewing your contract? (If not, I have three questions. WHY do you hate Scrubs fans when we show you nothing but respect? WHO'S going to tell my mother? And WHAT am I going to do with 10,000 'Erik, Scrubs Fan' business cards?)
Out of all of JD's girlfriends, which actress has been the most fun to work with?
To Donald -
Where did you pick up your dancing skills? I am a brother (at the very least, a half-brother), but I'm having trouble learning the moonwalk.
Is the Tabasco do-rag, as featured in the episode "My Butterfly," available for purchase?
To Sarah -
Out of all of Elliot's boyfriends, which actor has been the most fun to work with?
Do you really speak fluent German/French, or did you just learn it for the role?
Thank you all,
Erik in Gaithersburg, MD
