This movie will be awesome, if nothing else for revisiting Mulder and Scully six years after being off the air. Although what I really want most is for it to do well so we can get that third movie about the impending colonization in 2012...*fingers crossed*

The X-Files movie has a ton of lore and back story to build on, so I'm pretty sure it's going to be awesome for those of us who are longtime fans of the TV series. Plus, Scullyl!!!

That lore and backstory is a lot of what did it in the last time. (Well, that and Annabeth Gish. Man, I hated that final season.) I have no idea how good or bad this movie will be. It could be a lot of fun as a stand-alone; as an X-Files movie, though, it just feels like that ship has sailed.

It has a lot to live up to and was kinda rushed into production. It will be a good movie, but not better than the one that came out ten years ago. Of course I'd love to be surprised.

I hope that this will be a great movie and that it will bring together the threads from the tv series like a mosaic picture....
