In what has got to be the funniest news article I've read today, Rosie O'Donnell compares her time as one of the hostesses of The View to prison rape. The comment was made while O'Donnell appeared at Cyndi Lauper's True Colors tour in Vancouver (Yes, Cyndi Lauper still tours). She uses the specific example of the movie Born Innocent starring Linda Blair. There's a scene involving a broom that doesn't need to be described any further. Needless to say, it was very graphic and quite controversial at the time. Out of curiosity, does this comparison make Barbara Walters the evil warden character?
Bitter much? Rosie's acrimonious departure from the show is well-documented. Her abrasive, on-air personality was the cause of many controversies on the show.
O'Donnell added that life on The View "was like one big dysfunctional Irish Catholic family. Do anything except tell the truth. That doesn't fly for me."
Maybe Cyndi's next celebrity appearance can be Whoopi Goldberg?

Cyndi Lauper is still releasing albums, so why wouldn't she tour?

Brad, your attempt at humor failed miserably. Were you at the show? I was - the comments were made during Rosie's stand up segment - it was all done for a laugh.
As for Cyndi Lauper, she'll be around long after you and I are gone from the planet. So, who's laughing now?

Cyndi Lauper did a mini concert on As The World Turns yesterday, and it was awesome. She sang Luke and Noah back together, but only for a few minutes as Noah did the dumbest thing he could have and enlisted in the Army, which he hated all his life due to his nasty murdering father.
Oh, and Rosie, IMO, is just looking for some more attention in the media. But I hate the View now without her. Get rid of Hasselbeck. She is an airhead.
