Those kid cable network stars just can't stay away from their kid cable networks. Except for the ones who go off and do not-so-kid friendly fare, have you seen the leaked peek at Hilary Duff's new film role. Or the ones who do kid-friendly stuff, like making new ones *cough*Jamie Lynn Spears*cough*. Well, maybe we can still get Zoey 1+1=3. There's certainly plenty of young mothers out there looking for a positive role model, and the elder Spears isn't the best candidate so maybe Jamie Lynn will do better. But I digress. These are nice boys. More than a year after their popular series ended, Drake Bell and Josh Peck will reunite for a Drake & Josh Christmas movie. The plot revolves around the duo working as mall Santa and helper and promising a foster care girl the "best Christmas ever." The film begins airing this July which means it's going to be really freaking hot in the beard and Santa gear. I wonder if Miranda Cosgrove will sneak away from iCarly and appear in it. I'm still waiting for that reunion special of You Can't Do That on Television! I hear Alanis Morissette isn't doing much these days, and everyone knows slime never goes bad, or stops being funny.

Yes, Alanis does have a new album out.
Also, you wouldn't consider playing a cocaine dealer as going off to a not so kid friendly fare?
Lastly, these guys are great together, they have nice chemistry.

Drake Bell did some not-so-kid-friendly fare in an unreleased movie entitled "College". If that schlock ever gets released it'll be rated "R", but since it's been put back a few times it may never see the light of day. Working as an extra on that film I can tell you either Drake likes to party, or maybe he's REALLY not a morning person. Each day of shooting they'd almost have to drag him out of his trailer and he'd look pretty rough. His attitude wasn't much better, either, but he'd cheer up and be professional in short order.
Having said that, I agree that Drake and Josh are great together and I hope they stick to doing projects as a team. It would be great to have them in several films as a comedy duo, sort of like a 21st century Martin and Lewis.

I thought there was gonna be a drake and josh movie called drake and josh in new york and that it would serve as a series closeure since the show didnt really have an appropriate finale. Which made me really mad! i guess this new movie will explain some lose ends and give fans closure

This sounds a lot like the Kenan & Kel Christmas special, you remember the one I'm talking about... the one with the tuba phone and Kenan uses the money he earned working as a mall Santa to buy himself a new mountain bike, but instead uses the money to buy present for a poor family he met while working at the mall.
All the same, I'm all for more of Drake & Josh.

Josh was funnier when he was FAT, but they would be a good Farley / Spade type team
