The Hulkster's son, in jail for a driving accident that put his friend in a coma, just got moved last Friday into a new jail cell. He was serving his eight-month prison sentence in solitary confinement after pleading no contest to the three charges: reckless driving, drunk driving, and having tinted windows on his Supra. In a conversation with his mother, Linda Hogan, Nick (real last name Bollea) described the jail cell as half the size of his bathroom with no windows. According to Nancy Grace, the cell measures 12 X 16. Nick's new digs include a cable television, unlimited phone use, a snack bar, and three other juvenille inmates. According to the Sherrif's office, he was being held in solitary confinement becuase he is seventeen and therefore too young to be with the rest of the criminal population. His lawyers apparently filed a lawsuit against the sheriff's office saying that the decision to keep their client in solitary confinement is a violation of his privacy.
What do you think? Should Nick have stayed in solitary confinement until July 27th, his eighteenth birthday?

That's the way to do it. Give him cable TV, unlimited phone usage and a snack bar that will teach him a lesson for sure. Kid has more in a cell than I have being a free man.

One would think that solitary confinement would be nice and private.

I know. I'm glad someone else saw that. I thought the same thing when I was reading a few different articles for this post.

celebrities have it made... other celebs bail you out if you'rer going to lose your home, you can rape a child and move to france and be a celebrated director and you can drive like an asshole, put your friend in a coma and still have a better standard of living than 99% of the people in world.
Awesome!

I live in Florida, and this kid is all over the news. He's already planning a reality show showing his 'rehab,' and his mom is crying that she is hurting so much more than the mother of the injured boy. It makes me sick. Shame on them. And no, put him back in the old cell.

Hell yes, he doesn't deserve anything anyone else wouldn't get. What the court decides is what he should get. There is no changes. Our court system sucks and is so unfair. Our country has the worst judicial system in the world. That is why we have so many people in jail, that, we, the taxpayers, pay for! Give him the sentence, don't change it, he will not learn. He already thinks he is special and better than everyone else. So untrue. I have four sons that could blow him out of the water! His parents should be ashamed of him and make him work for a living, go to school and become a decent member of society. Give me and everyone else a break.

They oughta stick him in a cell with 3 or 4 muscle-bound man-rapists until he begs to go back to solitary.

Getting out of solitary might have been what he wanted, but at least now he stands a chance of getting some proper punishment in the end.

I hope he gets his ass stomped. He's no better than anyone else who if they had done the same thing would probably have gotten 8 yrs not 8 months.
And u know what, if his cell is 12 x 16, he can kiss my ass. That's bigger than the size of many bedrooms. Lil punk needs to learn from his mistakes, not cry a little and still get what he wants.
Also, Federal law states that underage prisoners cant be in the same cell as adults. His lawyers should know that.

cable television? Unlimited phone use? a snack bar? Geez...sounds like the holiday Inn to me. I can't believe convicted criminals get luxuries like that. It's like a paid vacation.
