It looks like someone took the effort to create a Flash player with embedded videos of many of the upcoming new fall shows. Included are clips from
Dollhouse,
Fringe,
Life on Mars,
The Eleventh Hour, Scrubs, The Cleveland Show, The Goode Family (pictured right) as well as several others. I only had a chance to look at some of them. The previews aren't of all the new shows available in the fall (NBC only has one preview), but it's still quite a few. Which ones are missing?
Embedded videos after the jumpA few observations from the previews:
- Dollhouse looks gooooooooooooooood!
- The Cleveland Show only used clips from Cleveland's appearances on Family Guy.
- The previews of Life On Mars and The Eleventh Hour seemed identical in plot and tone to the pilots of the shows on which they're based. The same was true of the first episode of the American version of The Office.
Any observations on your part regarding the previews?

They've got clips from both the Fringe and the Dollhouse, but it looks like they're missing the much better looking trailers.

First thoughts:
Life on Mars looks very same-y but I'm sure it will find it's own feet and mystery as it continues.
Scrubs - were some of those new clips or were they all old? Either way, I'll check out it's first new episode.
Stand Up and Sit Down/Do Not Disturb - please say these shows don't have laughter tracks? God I hoped they were extinct now. Neither looked great, and while I love the blossoming careers of the AD alum, neither of these shows looked a patch on the Best Comedy Ever(TM). Having said that, I'm judging this just off clips of the pilots so I'll definitely give them both a go when they launch.
(I pray the AD actors get tired of sub-par scripts, and that Mitch gets inspired for more AD goodness!)

Life on Mars will be a tough one to live up to, since the BBC version was fantastic... there's questions though to how this version can stand up to the original:
Will this be a pre-destined 2-season series like the original? And if so, how will American censors handle the controversial ending to the series?
Colm Meaney is a great actor, but can he pull off "The Gene Genie"?
Where's the David Bowie music? that was the entire purpose to the original series and it fit the theme exactly.
and lastly, If this works, will we see a US version of the follow-on spinoff of Ashes to Ashes?
