Michael Weinfeld of the Associated Press was able to sit down with television's most neurotic homemaker. Marcia Cross, who plays Bree Hodge on Desperate Housewives, dished about this Sunday's big finale event. The muffin-baking, rose bush-pruning domestic diva told all about what happens to herself and the other inhabitants of Wisteria Lane. SPOILER ALERT: Marcia Cross talks about the Desperate Housewives finale after the jump.
The finale will flash-forward five years and Cross's character takes "a big leap" from the Bree we know and love. Cross explains, "She's gone out into the world and she's become a bit of a success." What's the reason behind her success? The actress said that it has to do with Bree's and Katherine's (Dana Delany's) catering business. Bree will also change her look. About her famous hair doo, Cross exclaims, "the flip has died and I'm so happy about that."
Other reveals include Gabby having some children and the outcome of the situation with Kayla, Tom's mischeivous (to put it nicely) daughter. "She hightails it out of town or is hightailed out of town," Cross reveals. I, for one, am so excited that little devilish Kayla won't be around anymore to ruin Lynette's life.
The Desperate Housewives finale is this Sunday at 9 p.m. ET / PT on ABC. I'm tuning in. How about you?

Desperate housewives is probably one if the best tv shows on, it changes, keeps you wanting more, and the cast of characters work well with one another.

The five year jump is a cool idea - maybe Kayla will return as a toubled teen - but I feel sorry for the kids who have been with the show since the beginning and will be out of jobs! And what about the gay couple? Will they still be living on the Lane in five years??
