As we told you last week, RedEye is in the middle of their annual Best Character on Television tournament, and now we're into the second round. It looks like some strong favorites have emerged, while some fan favorites have been voted off the island.
That wouldn't include Don Draper from Mad Men (who lost to Jermaine and Bret from from Flight of the Conchords), Morgan Grimes from Chuck (who lost to Michael Scott from The Office), or Captain Jack Harkness from Torchwood. He actually lost to Herbert from Family Guy. That has to be embarrassing.
The TV favorites moving into the second round besides Michael Scott include Lost's Benjamin Linus, 30 Rock's Liz Lemon, Barney Stinston from How I Met Your Mother, and Dr. Perry Cox from Scrubs. He's going up against agent Ari Gold from Entourage. I bet that's going to be a battle.

I really think the poll is flawed. I voted every day, and I seldom saw the numbers change. The term FIX sticks in my mind. Just to put Captain Jack against Herbert was disgusting.

It's brainless kids and teenagers with no life doing all the voting and making a sham of the poll. Kids and teenagers should either be banned from the internet or have their own little "Lord of the Flies" net they can act up on, especially teens. Idiots living on their own sense of self-worth and egomania.
