I think we can totally forget about Star Jones and Barbara Walters exchanging Christmas gifts this year.
The former View host/Court TV host is quite angry at Walters for various things that Walters says in her new memoir, Audition. Among the many reveals in the book is the fact that Walters had an affair with a married Senator back in the 80s. This doesn't please Jones at all, and she's also upset at Walters' version of the events that led to Jones being axed from The View. Walters reveals that they all knew that Jones lost a lot of weight by having gastric bypass surgery and that the other hosts were ticked that they had to lie about how Jones lost the weight on the air.
"It is a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters, in the sunset of her life, is reduced to publicly branding herself as an adulterer, humiliating an innocent family with accounts of her illicit affair and speaking negatively against me all for the sake of selling a book. It speaks to her true character."
On another note, Jones has a web site, where she says that "I am the only author of the dictionary that defines me." I feel the same way about Roget's Thesaurus.

Can't Star Jones go back to being a lawyer? She is ugly....inside, and out, and bitter. She married a known gay man when she was heavy, and now is breaking her vows...AKA a liar, to marry somebody else. Make her go away!

I'm sure Barbara stays awake at night worrying over what Star Jones thinks of her.

This is like back in the 80's when Iraq and Iran were fighting. It's really hard to know who to root for when you don't care for or about either of the combatants.

Truthfully, I have not "forgiven" Barbara for what she did to Star Jones -- lying to us on air one day and then the very next day saying that she knew all along. It was nice to hear her side of the events and I can't imagine what Star could be mad about because i'm sure she could have gone into more details. Hopefully Star will tell the true events of what happened.

I like Star, but everyone knew she had the bypass. I really am tired of people saying they didn't. Even Al Roker lied for awhile. People, we know you have plastic surgery, and we know about the bypass. Stop lying. We don't care. And so what if Barbara had an affair? Holy cow, who hasn't in this day and age? And this was a long time ago. SO WHAT? Seems that Star is just miffed that Babs told the truth.

and why is there no Jones/O'donnell talkshow? For once they could be making free television that even I would pay for. Maybe Baba Wawa as the first intervied, nu?

I agree with the thought that Star should just go away. She's a pain in the rear. She had no right to put the other ladies of The View in such an awkward position. It was soooooo obvious that what she was saying about the weight loss was a bunch of hooey. No one with a brain believed her. She lied to begin with and forced others to lie. What's right about that? Do two wrongs make a right? Not in my book.
