Rachael Ray aired a special tribute episode for Rosie O'Donnell today, and Ellen DeGeneres' show isn't happy about it.
Rosie O'Donnell appeared on the special episode earlier today, one day after Telepictures (the company that syndicates Ellen) called and tried to get the episode pulled. That's right, a company called the day before an episode aired to try and get it pulled. Seems that Telepictures is worried that if Rachael Ray airs old footage from The Rosie O'Donnell Show (which Telepictures also syndicated), then Ellen would be beaten in the ratings.
I have to agree with the people at The Rachael Ray Show. Telepictures waited until the last minute to try to get an entire pre-taped show pulled? I also think it's kinda crazy to be this upset over one episode of a show. Telepictures says it never happened, but Rachael Ray's people say it did.
Maybe the three of them can go on Hulk Hogan's new show.

I know, me neither, I can't believe I'm replying to the response of someone who wasted his time to read this and responded.

But seriously, a Rosie O' Donnell TRIBUTE SHOW? What alternate universe is this? Why does this filthy scum of a person deserve a tribute show? Did she die? You'd think she'd keel over at some point, the fat slob.

Seems Rachel Ray is making this a habit... Didn't she do the same thing to the Martha Stewart show some time ago? She aired a show with Barry Manilow at the same time Martha had him live on hers...

How about we shut up the bitches, all of them, and cancel all their shows and forbid they can be on tv ever again.

Ellen, you have nothing to worry about. Rosie has shown what a nasty person she is. And Rachel? You are soooo much better.

I don't get it.... Ellen wasn't going to have Rosie on too or was that just not mentioned? I get when you have competing guest and one is taped vs one is live but what's the deal.
Ellen's show hasn't been the same since she decided to go on despite the strike. It's more game show, B-list stars, etc. Ellen needs to revamp the show and start over again in the Fall.
BTW... the Rosie/Rachael episode was alot of fun but it was obvious that Rosie doesn't know that much about Rachael. Rachael let Rosie do what she wanted to do and Rosie was in a great mood the whole time. A happy Rosie is good for tv ratings! :)

The title of the post (and to be fair, the title of the linked MSNBC news story, too) make it seem like Ellen herself is pissed off with Rachael Ray and Rosie, when in reality it's the production company for her show (which as far as I know, she doesn't own) who is irrationally angry about old footage they used to own (or if they still own, must've signed off on). Doesn't seem like Ellen herself is mad at all with Rachael OR Rosie -- though I wouldn't blame her for the latter!
