BBC America shows hit iTunes

BBC AmericaGreat British programming is now available for those who own an iPod but don't have cable television. Certain programs from BBC America (which is, technically, BBC programming) are now available on iTunes. These programs include Torchwood, Little Britain and the new version of Robin Hood. The shows individually cost $1.99 with entire seasons ranging in the same price.

Because my cable provider sucks, I don't get BBC America. This is probably a good thing as I spend too much time watching television as it is. I haven't had a chance to see the new Robin Hood but I've heard good things. I remain a tremendous fan of Little Britain, Torchwood and Doctor Who.

Say, why exactly isn't Doctor Who on that line-up? I can only suppose that it's because the show is running on both BBC America (last season's episodes) and the Sci Fi Channel (this season's episodes). Sorry iTunes fans.
