The Berverly Hills, 90210 spin off found its mother! TV Guide's Michael Ausiello reports that Full House's Lori Loughlin was cast as Celia Mills, "an ex-Olympic athlete who relocates to Beverly Hills with her husband and two children."As we revealed about a month ago, 90210 version 2.0 will revolve around the Mills family, which relocates to Beverly Hills so the patriarch can take care of his movie star mother who just fell off the wagon. Supposedly, he'll get a job as Beverly Hills High new principal.
Loughlin seems a fitting choice for the role. She may not be the most popular TV star out there nowadays, but she has been in the business for almost 25 years and therefore as experience and fans that follow her around. Plus seeing a familiar face in this spin off may help launch it.
The actress joins Runaway's Dustin Milligan and Nip/Tuck's AnnaLynne McCord, who were recently cast for the 90210 spin off.

OK, while I think LL is cute, with the Hilary Duff rumor and now this, I'm wondering what happened to the ironic re-version of 90210 that was seemingly pitched a few months ago -

Great! Now all we need is John Stamos as the father and Jodie Sweetin as Brenda and we're set for an awesome show!
