According to Variety, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been picked up for a second season. Michael Ausiello of TV Guide also indicated that the show had been given the greenlight for a second season but could not deliver official confirmation. Fox has ordered 13 episodes so far for the second season. The Fox series stars Summer Glau as the "good" Terminator named Cameron, Thomas Dekker as John Connor, the future savior of mankind from the evil robots, and Lena Headey as Sarah Connor, the mother of said future savior. The show is executive-produced by Josh Friedman and John Wirth.
I'm excited about this renewal and not just because I reviewed the first season for TV Squad. The first season had a very good overall story arc. The series deserved more of a chance to tell its story after the WGA Strike had cut the first season short. Also it is the second season of a sci-fi show on Fox, which is a rarity unto itself that should be appreciated.

Sweet! I am doing the Myposian "Dance of Joy" now!
Now that we officially have a Season Two coming, does this mean we can look forward to S1 being released on DVD and Blu-Ray soon? I need the space back on my DVR!!!

Hopefully this is a good sign for the slate of sci-fi shows coming to Fox next season, that the network is a little more committed than fans are used to. I think I will personally murder Fox executives if DollHouse is cut short of a full season, or if it is not renewed (assuming it is as good as all of us hope).

Nah. I think it's just they know they launched the show badly (should have been after the super bowl) and the show has the Terminator name so they are keeping it around. All other sci-fi shows on Fox will bomb and bring balance back to the universe. :)

Don't say that!!! If Dollhouse is cancelled in its first season, I will personally take out revenge against anyone I percieve is responsible, and that can include you, sir!!! :)

I really hope he's wrong, but I fear Oreo's prediction is correct. Nothing personal, Oreo, and I expect you hope that prediction never comes true, too.

After his experience with Firefly, I can't imagine that Joss would go back to Fox if he didn't have some kind of assurance that there will be more support from the studio this time around.

Sci-Fi fans rarely get good news from the major networks. So it's great to see this series get renewed.
