Big Brother 9: Live feeds report - April 16

Sharon talks to her fur-iends in the Big Brother 9 houseBeebies! My beebies! My fur-iends! I just don't know. I realize I talk to my cat, but I hope I don't sound as whacked-out as Sharon does when she talks to the guinea pigs in the Big Brother 9 house. Of course, I discuss politics, religion, and world issues with my cat rather than just calling her pet names. That might be the difference.

One of the houseguests, either Sharon or Natalie, will be evicted on tonight's show. Don't you want to be prepared for the outcome? Read on past the jump for news from the 24/7 live feeds -- spoilers ahead!

Usually the period leading into the live eviction show is a bit boring. Now, today itself has been on the quiet side. But there sure were fireworks last night! By now you all know the original plan was to backdoor Natalie. Then the guys did what this group has been doing all season -- they flip-flopped the vote being the fickle flip-floppers they are.

I'd say the ones we know and love, but only the "know" part of that would be true. I'm getting to the season end here and don't really have a favorite to cheer on, haven't had one for most of the season. But that's not a problem. It just means I can be equally snarky about them all, right? In past seasons, I've picked favorites because I found them intriguing. I think that's my issue with this season. I'm not finding any of these hamsters overly intriguing. I still find the show entertaining enough, but I don't have any desire to know any of these hamsters any more than I already do from watching the feeds and the show.

Oh, well ... back to the house news. Yes, Ryan and Adam flipped to wanting to evict Sharon and keep Natalie this week. Natalie's tears surely played a role in the change. Ryan seems to have forgotten he even has a secret alliance with Sharon. He's either lying to everyone else or just to her. I think it's the latter. He's been telling her she's safe probably to avoid dealing with things.

Last night Natalie decided to have her own showdown about Sharon. She was going to call her out on everything she's done and said in the game. She was going to give her what for and break the Marine gal down! Um, it didn't really work too well. Yes, Sharon got mad, but Natalie didn't get the results she planned. I'm not sure what's going on with these silly call out sessions they've been doing. It's not as if they're not all lying and backstabbing. They've had so many mini-alliances in the house that you need a scorecard to keep track of them. No one has clean hands in this house, no one. (Especially not Adam because he rarely washes his hands after using the toiler, but that's not what I mean.)

Later there was another flip-flop. Adam and Sheila got in a bit of a brouhaha with Ryan egging things on. Sheila and Natalie had already had a brouhaha earlier. It might all be too much for a 46-year-old single mom! Sheila really wants them both to vote to evict Natalie. Although she's told them if it comes to a tie she will vote to evict Natalie. But she doesn't want blood on her (dirty) hands. She wants them to do her dirty work for her. So what do the guys decide? Well, they're just not going to do her dirty work (with their dirty hands) and they'll deliberately go for a tie tonight so Sheila's (dirty) hands will get all bloody.

In house crumbs:

  • After the boys talked about splitting the vote, Adam told Sharon and Sheila that they're voting for Sharon to stay. Who knows?
  • Sharon and Natalie both packed their bags.
  • The others talked about getting Sharon's slop pass from her if she goes. Vultures!
  • They housecleaned, napped, and hung out inside the house as the backyard was in lockdown until tonight's show. The HOH set-up, of course.
  • They were in an HOH room lockdown for a while. Those are always boring because no one talks strategy in front of everyone.
  • Sharon willed the slop pass to Sheila if she goes. The carrion feast is over.
  • We've been at trivia with blocked feeds for a while now. I don't expect the feeds to return until after the show. The only game talk I picked up recently is Adam saying she's okay to Natalie at one point. That's negligible.

There are internet rumors that tonight will be a double eviction. The season finale is planned for Sunday, April 27. The timing is indeed right for the double eviction. Next week it has to be three, not four, going into the final HOH comp. If they wait until next week I'd be surprised.
