I would love to win Father Knows Best Season 1 on DVD because I have a friend who grew up housebound, and always watched this show. I would love to surprise her with a gift of this DVD!

I grew up in the 1950's but somehow never saw this
series. In the last few years, however, I've listened to
several episodes of the Father Knows Best radio series,
which is pretty good comedy and holds up well for its
age. I'd like to see the tv version and compare the two.

As a social studies teacher that grew up with father Knows best, I can envision using the DVD's in my classroom to teach the times (and perhaps some manners) as well as at home just for nostalgia.

I grew up in the 50;s. We live in a very small town hundreds of miles for a major city with television reception. So Televison was our key to what the other world was like. I wanted to be like the Andersons. They had a beautiful house, all the children had their own room, they never had left overs for dinner, they had no sickness or everyday problems. Almost every girl in highschool used this show to pick out our clothes and everyone wore a pony tail.

I'd love to win this DVD of Father Knows Best because I love all of the old shows -- and enjoy sharing shows I watched so many years ago with my children. It is amazing how much they love them and how these shows are still loved today. Also, what great memories!
