Big Brother 9: Live feeds report - March 28

Natalie is creatively bored in the BB9 houseWe're in the busy days of Big Brother 9 right now. Since the live show on Wednesday, there has been a food competition, nominations, and today is the power of veto competition. After today, there isn't anything except the power of veto meeting. Then it's a mix of doldrums and drama until the next live eviction on Wednesday.

Natalie is doing her artwork in the image here. I've been surprised that BB is allowing that as they aren't allowed to write. In other seasons, they had nothing with which to write. She's using nail polish. For show spoilers, read on past the jump!

Since the live show, the food comp has Adam and Natalie eating real food, everyone else is on slop. Natalie is eating because she's the head of house this week. The food comp was blocked to the feeds, but in talking about it after the fact, the hamsters said Adam chose food for an answer as the rest chose slop. Okay, that's clear, huh?

Last night, no surprise to anyone, Natalie nominated Joshuah and James for eviction. Her real target is James, but she'd be happy enough for Joshuah to go, too. James knows that if he doesn't win POV and save himself, he's a goner this week. Joshuah is worried that James will win POV, save himself, and then he (Josh) will end up getting evicted before anyone except James. Pins and needles.

James blew up at Sheila last night. She claimed he's crazy and was frothing at the mouth. He did go a bit berserk, but I saw no froth. Sheila herself is still playing all sides and talking a mile a minute to anyone who will listen to her. Because she's so terrified of James, she moved into the HOH room with Natalie. I think it's as much, if not more, the chance to latch onto Natalie's HOH coattails as it is being scared of James. Sheila's alternate personality, called Kimberly by the houseguests, wished James luck on the veto comp. Hey, I couldn't make this stuff up!

In house crumbs:
  • Adam told James everyone wants him out of the house.
  • Sheila, in between talking and talking, experimented with slop recipes.
  • Joshuah told James that he doesn't have much fight left in him -- it's his (James) game to win.
  • Everyone except Adam is playing the veto comp. Adam is hosting.
  • James didn't sleep well and roamed the house on and off into the wee hours.
  • After the James and Sheila fight, Sheila was once again saying she wanted to be put on the block and go home.
  • James mentioned to Natalie he heard Sheila wants to go home. He's grasping for straws here.
  • Ryan told Sheila and Natalie that Sharon is a mole for the other side. Sharon picked up on a different vibe from them since that time.
  • Sheila thinks that people know she's a threat. (Not in competitions!)
  • Sheila cried some more, but I know that's not news.
  • Natalie agreed with James that Sheila bugs her, too. She said that if she wants to go on the block, she can and she won't save her. (Of course, she could just be saying that to James for the sake of it's James.)
  • Sharon told Sheila she wanted to take Joshuah as far as she can in the game but he's grown dependent on her. She has her own game to play.
  • Natalie thinks her biggest threat is James. She's right.
  • The others talked about Sheila talking so much.
  • Sharon, Sheila, and Natalie talked about creating a Girls Club alliance.

Brief BB9 live feeds video leak pre-veto comp.

As I'm typing this, the feeds are blocked for the POV comp. They just came on shortly (see image) and I heard a producer's voice tell Natalie and Sharon he needs them to change out of their white shirts. Natalie protested that her shirt is beige, but then went with Sharon. James and Ryan were talking about whether BB will try to bribe them during the comp. The feeds are blocked again and it's Big Brother trivia questions and theme music.

Since the power of veto comp hasn't started yet although the feeds have been blocked for over a half an hour, I'm going ahead and submitting this report. Once I know the outcome of the comp (which could be more than a few hours away), I'll either update this entry or make a separate one dependent on the drama factor.

UPDATE: James won the power of veto.
