Stupid basketball! Not only does it mess with several of my primetime shows, it makes Letterman go into repeats also. We had quite a fews new shows from DL after he made that deal with the writers union, but he had a week a repeats after about a month. Now he's off for who knows how long. Look, if I had his money, I probably wouldn't want to work that much either. But sometimes, after a bad day, it really picks me up to have a new Letterman to watch. Even if he does a lot of the same schtick over and over, I still enjoy the show. Hell, after he retires, there'll be nothing left worth watching in latenight, at least on network tv. Between Johnny Carson & Letterman, I've benn watching them for probably 80% of my living years. It'll be a sad day when ole Dave is gone.
