Even though you can't tell from the FOX web site, which still has information about last season, a new season of Hell's Kitchen starts on April 1 at 9pm.
And this time the winner gets a job at one of Gordon Ramsay's own restaurants! The lucky contestant will become Executive Chef at the new The London West Hollywood, which is slated to open this summer.
That's not the only twist we'll see this season. We'll also see more contestants (15) and more dinner service than we've seen in the Hell's Kitchen restaurant in the previous three seasons. I sense that this means more arguing, more opportunities for controversy and screw-ups, and definitely more delightful swearing from Ramsay. After the jump, the list of this season's contestants.
- Ben: 29, an electrician and former chef from Charlotte , NC
- Bobby: 37, an executive chef from Niagara Falls , NY

I suspect that Las Vegas has more higher end chefs per capita than most American cities.

I wonder if the contestants will actually be nice to look at. I don't watch a lot of reality shows, but I have to say that this one has the most ugly people than any other show. They even look worse than Survivor people at Day 30 and Amazing Race people half way through the race. Plus most of them smoke and drink like sailors. Didn't realize the "chefing" business was so rough.
