Big Brother 9: Live feeds report - March 5

Is that a clue in the guinea pig cage?Ah, they're promising some changes tonight on the Big Brother 9 live eviction show. Have you seen the latest promos? It's really not a spoiler as CBS has continuously been airing the commercials since last night's show -- a couple will get evicted, but may not be allowed to leave? Well, anything which shakes up this season to turn it into a more cerebral game would be welcome to me!

We have an inking of changes to come, but what about the houseguests? They have to be doing the math and know that a couple can't get evicted each week or it will be a short season, right? For show spoilers and the latest from inside the house, read on past the jump.

With the threat of the siren over their heads, some of the hamsters are worried. Joshuah is beside himself with worry, pacing the HOH room half the night and imagining every worst case scenario possible. About the only ones not particularly worried are Ryan and Allison. They believe they're probably goners, so they'd welcome any odd changes at this point. After all, it could be something which may save them in the house. But, at this time, there has been no siren. So, we still don't know what's up with that.

BB woke them up early today, just a bit after 8 AM their time. That doesn't mean they got up right away. Those BB piped announcements always bring back memories of other houseguests (and better seasons) for me. "Houseguests, I said it's time to get up!"

In blocked bits, it seems that they had a trial run of the voting procedure and there are hints that tonight's show will need to be precisely timed. Most of the houseguests were thinking that the HOH comp will be physical, Matt didn't think it would be live but there's no real basis for his rationale on that.

Natalie went around the house last night writing numbers of how many things with nail polish on a napkin. She said it was "artwork." In past seasons, they didn't allow the hamsters to have anything to write with and it's still forbidden this year. Joshuah said he reported her. That hasn't stopped both Matt and Natalie from going around the house today counting things and memorizing the quotes on the walls.

Matt and Ryan talked about Allison being to blame for Ryan's likely eviction. Matt said that it's her mouth that got them in all the hot water with the others in the house and Ryan can't control her. (Like Matt can control his puppy dog Natalie).

Allison thinks that James and Chelsia will vote to evict her (and Ryan). She's really not sure how Matt and Natalie will vote. But she knows that if it comes down to it and Joshuah has to break a tie, he'll choose to evict her. She tried to convince Ryan that even if they get evicted tonight, they'll be walking right back in. It's news to Ryan, but I can't help but wonder if she has a clue something's up tonight. Food for thought, eh?

Allison got all taken in with some puzzle and the feed focused on the A block in the guinea pig cage for quite a while. I know the wood puzzle was there before, but I never noticed the block. Did any of you see the block before today? Could it be a clue? Allison wasn't focusing on the A block, but on the number 8. There were 8 couples, 8 of this, 8 of that. I'm not sure if it's anything other than her own imagination getting to her.

The power flickered a few times in the house today resulting in panic from Natalie and Allison.

Aha! The houseguests finally notice the block(s) in the guinea pig cage! I wasn't going crazy -- they're new or the hamsters just noticed them, too. While the feed focused on the A block, apparently there are blocks with each houseguest's first name initials.

Alas, that's pretty much where I have to leave off on this report as the feeds have now been blocked for almost two hours going into the live eviction show.
