(S05E06) "The flames are tickling your buttocks!" - Shake

Frylock's eyes. Who knew they could become the basis for a whole episode? Heck, I didn't even realize that he wore contact lenses. I thought his eyes just launched laser canons naturally. I mean, he is a talking carton of french fries so I figure anything is possible. But leave it to Shake and his megalomaniacal delusions (remember The Drizzle?) to steal his good friend's "laser lenses."

With Frylock blind, Shake got as cocky as we've ever seen him and as you'd expect, most of his anger was taken out on Carl "cottage cheese thighs" Brutanananadilewski. He blew up Carl's Tuscan themed breakfast nook, tossed him around with the lasers, and even made Carl order him Chinese food. Brutal, huh?

While Shake was busy dominating Carl's backyard, Frylock enlisted Meatwad's help to go on the Internet and order a new set of contacts. Instead, he ordered a pallet of melted ice cream from South America. Nothing seemed to be going well for Frylock until Shake began to get tired and had to take a nap. While dosing off, Meatwad stole the contacts... and Shake's eyes.

So now Meatwad had the power (sort of) and the episode eventually devolved into a heated argument about the pros and cons of Lasik eye surgery. At this point, Carl mentioned that his cousin Terry could perform the procedure at discount price. In the back of his van. Naturally, everyone jumped at the opportunity and Frylock ended up with a pair of female breasts for eyes, Shake had a Whiffle bat taped to his crotch, and Meatwad... well, he still had Shake's eyes shoved into his own.

This episode was all over the place, but it had some great lines. Shake's mention that he had seen the Jodie Foster flick Contact numerous times was a riot and I loved that Carl reverted back to calling Shake "Cup." We haven't heard him use that one in a while.

My favorite moment was definitely when Frylock realized that he still had his old missile shooting glasses in his pocket. Meatwad quickly shot them off with Shake's eyes and Frylock then replaced them with a monocle. Meatwad took care of them too. Frylock just couldn't catch a break in this episode.

Oh and how could I forget the ridiculous the transition in the middle of the episode, where Shake had on giant bat wings and was eating Earth? Aqua Teen Hunger Force, you've done it again.
