Mary Kate and Ashley continue to grow their media empire. They are working on a coffee table fashion book called Influence. It will be published by a division of the Penguin Group.According to a statement issued Wednesday by Penguin, the book will include "exclusive photographs of Ashley and Mary-Kate from world renowned photographer Rankin, and a wide variety of other never-before-seen materials and interviews from Mary-Kate and Ashley's personal collections."
Since they already have a billion-dollar empire from their work as child actors starting with Full House, this seems more like bragging about the fashions they can afford and the designers they've worked with. Even the title seems somewhat self-absorbed.
From their name value alone, the book may be a bestseller (particularly to those who simply don't have enough glamour photos of the twins). Given their history, I'd find the concept more interesting if they preceded the title with "Driving Under The".

Yeah, I'm going to shell out big bucks for a FASHION book written by 2 ragamuffin multimillionaires who look like they don't have a dime between them, and are desperatly in need of 1.) a shower 2.) a hair stylist and 3.) a washer and dryer.
I have better places to spend my money.

Unfortunately those are the same people who are responsible for dressing them and stopping them from smoking, so the results are disappointing.
