Last night we lost Alex and Amanda. But how have the dynamics inside the Big Brother 9 house changed since the live show? From what Julie Chen said at the end of the show, we can expect the unexpected next week. Right now we have more of an inkling of upcoming changes than do the hamsters. So ... who's screaming at whom today? Have alliances shifted once again? How are Joshuah and Sharon handling their Head of House reign thus far?
Read on past the jump, but there are show spoilers on the other side!
Well, the absolute biggest news actually happened prior to the live show last night. No, it wasn't shown on the feeds as it happened or I would have reported it. Most of the day which was shown on the feeds yesterday was small talk, some strategy, house cleaning, and primping for the live show. But the feeds were blocked for most of the afternoon and early evening leading into the show. Since there really wasn't much to report, I didn't write it up.
Oh, but what went on when the feeds were blocked pre-show sounds like the sort of stuff which makes the feeds worthwhile! It was a brouhaha, folks. Apparently Joshuah and Allison got in a huge fight, what about I do not know. But the kicker is that Joshuah threatened to "slit" Allison's throat! That incited Allison even more.
After the show ended last night and the feeds returned, they were still arguing. Allison wanted to DOR (a voluntary leave) and said she was scared for her life. Both got hauled separately into the Diary Room. Joshuah said that he was told he had to stay five feet away from Allison at all times. Allison wasn't thrilled that they wouldn't expel Joshuah from the game. She thinks he's unstable and dangerous.
Meanwhile, most of the other houseguests seem to be more on Joshuah's side than Allison's side. Allison is mad because Ryan isn't defending her. Ryan is starting to sound like Alex referring to Amanda and says if he's evicted, it will be her fault. She's walking around accusing others of talking about her and working herself into an almost Sheila tizzy!
Matt and Natalie had a fight, too. That one ended up with her crying under the covers. That fight was nothing compared to the brouhaha, though. It was typical Natalie going on and on the her Mattie and he didn't want to hear it.
In house crumbs:
- Sharon told Joshuah that Allison's been playing all sides since the beginning.
- Sharon and Joshuah want Ryan and Allison out this week. Big surprise there, eh?
- Allison told Adam that she doesn't know how Joshuah passed the psych test. He said he thought the same about Sheila.
- Natalie told Joshuah and Sharon that Matt was being mean to her again. (She complains about the same thing two or three times a day.)
- Five feet apart, Joshuah and Allison argued. He said he can't wait to send her home. She said he's an idiot and a psycho. Then they argued about education.
- Allison moved towards him and he demanded the five feet. She told him that only applies to him, not her.
- Joshuah and Sharon talked to the other houseguests about the best way to get Ryan and Allison out this week.
- The feeds were blocked for the food competition. It apparently was a group food comp for the whole house. I saw James and Chelsia putting away a lot of foodstuffs in the storage room, so they must not be all on slop.
- Allison approached Sharon and Joshuah supposedly to apologize, saying she didn't like the way Sheila is playing the game. But then she started in on why Joshuah was so mad at her.
- Then she told them how they're her favorite people. Yes, Allison is telling that to Joshuah and Sharon. She now suddenly adores Joshuah, you know.
- Allison then proceeded to trash Ryan to Sharon and Joshuah. Okaaaay.
- She told Joshuah she wanted to move past their difficulties, but he's obviously not buying what she's selling. He's not arguing, but I doubt she's going to convince him to see the new Allison.
- She went on and on about how Alex was screwed in the game because he was with Amanda and how adamant Ryan was that he wanted Amanda and Alex gone. I'm personally not sure what that has to do with anything.
Nominations are supposed to be today. Once they're in, I'll throw an update line on this entry unless there's another huge brouhaha tonight.
UPDATE: Nominations are in. It's Ryan/Allison and Matt/Natalie on the block.

btw we have no clue if Josh actually said that to her. He denies it and her story keeps changing-- first he said it to her, then she told people she heard him say it to someone else.
She was so weird last night I don't believe her at all

During the feeds last night Josh mentioned that BB went over all the tapes and no where did he say he'd slit her throat. I can't stand Josh, but I dislike Allison even more.

I simply cannot stand this group of people this season. Do people really talk behind each others' backs the way Sharon and Josh did last night regarding looks? I think they're all sad and miserable, with the exception of Ryan who just seems to be trying to maintain.

I couldn't agree with you more. They all sit there and go at each other tooth and nail, and then when a couple is evicted, or about to be, they are all "Oh, we love you, this is my family, you all are so important to me", yadda yadda. Could they BE any more fake? On the other hand, I do have to say at least some of the comments taped and shown AFTER the eviction seemed to tell it like it REALLY is. All in all, a weird season that I blame on the writer's strike :)

The thing is, as much as I don't like Alli, she is playing the house so well. I mean, eventually it'll bite her...maybe...but its fun watching...these people believe her like everyone did whatever eric told them to do. She's a gambler, with an addiction, and she's definitely gambling in the house right now.
Time will tell, but Alli is good enough she could easily walk through to the final if they don't get her out this week.

Watergate all over, what was it the country lawyer said during the Watergate hearings on Capitol Hill, "oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive. Allison is getting just what she deserves, when you lye down with dogs you're going to end up with fleas. One more thing, did you catch what she told her partner Ryan about how her family would be so ashamed of her being in the same house with a bunch of "low life's" Does that include him as well?

Im wondering myself how he passed the psych test? Wasent he also the one who said to give Amanda a nose so she could hang her self like her father? This season there are gonna be a lot of people with a lot of regrets for things they did and said!!

My theory is that it's better to have these people locked in somewhere with 24/7 surveillance than to have any of these psychos loose on the street.

When did he say that, Sly? I must have missed it. While I don't think he'd actually harm anyone, I haven't heard him deny saying it and I've seen him say some pretty horrible things.
That said, I think I might like him better than I do Allison. Mind you, that's not saying much.
