The Venture Bros. storyboard artist (and all-around awesome cartoonist) Stephen DeStefano has decided to update his art blog a little more often and if this is any sign of things to come, VB fans are in for a treat. As most of you know, there are three things that I love in life: drawing, The Venture Bros, and fine cheeses. DeStefano's latest update covered two of those categories, so I grabbed a handful of aged cheddar cubes and basked in its greatness.
One of the first things that DeStefano drew as Season Three's Storyboard and Design Supervisor was a ten-page tutorial called "How to Draw The Venture Bros." He's just uploaded the first four pages, which include some great notes on construction and a detailed look at the fine features of Doc Venture.
It looks like the rest of the pages will be coming up soon. Tomorrow, we'll get to learn how to draw bulky Brock Samson. Maybe I'll actually figure out how to draw that mullet without making it look too much like a dead poodle helmet. Yes, fans, take note. From this point on, there will be no excuse for shoddy fan art.

At least half a dozen times I misread "drawing, The Venture Bros, and fine cheeses" as "drawing The Venture Bros, and fine cheeses" and wondered what the third thing was.
