Some X-Files movie sequel hints - VIDEO

The X-FilesCan you hear the eerie music becoming louder and louder? That's the sound of the X-Files movie being one step closer to being released on the big screens this summer (more than likely on July 25)! Being an X-Files and a spoilers fan, I jumped up and down a few times while humming the show's theme this morning when I stumbled on a SCI FI Wire article that offered just what I was looking for: spoilers about the upcoming X-Files movie!

The movie, a stand-alone story, will feature some of the most essential themes of the spooky series. While at the WonderCon in San Francisco, creator Chris Carter revealed that skepticism and faith will play a big part in the movie. Producer/writer Frank Spotnitz added that the movie will be scary, exciting, very personal, romantic and emotional. The creative duo also dished that the relationship between Mulder and Scully has changed over the years.

Cast and crew are not leaking many spoilers about the movie sequel. Spy photos showed a werewolf head but no one working on the set wants to confirm if it is a legit picture or not. However, during the WonderCon, footage from the movie was shown and featured Billy Connolly and Amanda Peet playing "a man with really long hair" and "an FBI special agent in charge who goes missing" respectively. I put a video of the footage at the bottom of this post (it may take a few seconds to appear on your screen). It's not of the best quality since it was shot by a fan seating in the audience but we can see pretty well the entire teaser. Can you find all the hints featured in this teaser? I must say I had pretty much the same reaction as the audience when Mulder and Scully appeared on screen!

The amount of spoilers in this article left me on my appetite. I was craving for much more! Couldn't they tell us if the werewolf picture was accurate? It's just a werewolf and it wouldn't be giving much away to confirm that since it's pretty much a given this type of mythical beast would turn up on the X-Files. Rest assured that we will bring you the latest news and spoilers from the site as they hit the net.
