Considering that Frank Calliendo's inaugural season on his show (cleverly titled Frank TV) hit excellent ratings numbers for TBS, it comes as no real shocker that it's been picked up for a second run. The first season was cut to only five episodes due to the writers strike, so rather than go back to finish the rest of the initial order, TBS has gone this route.Calliendo's show is a streaming barrage of fast impressions and skits, featuring Calliendo in virtually every role. Made famous by his dead-on impressions of the likes of George W. Bush, Al Pacino and John Madden, the show has received mixed reviews. Personally, I find Frank to be an incredibly likable guy, which comes across well on the show, and as with most sketch shows, if something isn't working for you, go make a sandwich. It'll be something else by the time you come back.

Having an obese man do impressions of normal sized people is about as sensible as hiring Nell Carter to play Halle Berry in the Berry biopic.

"...if something isn't working for you, go make a sandwich."
How many sandwiches do I have to make until it does work for me?

Ahhh, look. It's angry people making fun of something on the Internet! It's new and novel and oh so clever. Let's all clap and maybe their crushing desperate self-loathing will go away...
Nope, they're still there.

Angry people? Seriously, why watch a show with a fat guy doing impressions of anyone?

A bit defensive?
He seems like a good guy, but the routine got old for me. He is pretty good with his act, but it doesn't grow or expand much. His stuff now is the same stuff that we saw him doing in his stand up and on Fox for years. His act really hasn't changed. It's amusing and can be fun, but other times I wonder haven't I seen this before and then remember it was the same thing I saw before the commercial break.

He looks like a retarded person holding a Christmas ham. Anyone interested in watching this must have a brain the size of a peanut.

Just think how good the show could do if Calliendo wasn't so incredibly UNfunny. He does so-so impressions but just IS NOT FUNNY.
