Thanks to the TV Guide website, the cast photos of the new hamsters in the Big Brother 9 house were revealed before the big reveal on today's Early Show.According to several sources, the theme this season isn't really "dirty little secrets" -- it's "soulmates." It will be interesting who the possible soulmate would be for the one 45-year-old woman amongst all the 20-somethings.
The Insider also offers a sneak peek at the new Big Brother 9 house during a journalist romp in the house.
I'm really not sure what to think of the cast. I tend to go for more diversity in casting. One lone black male, one older woman, all look like they're Hollywood wannabes. Yeah, I know. No one but Hollywood wannabes would be in the house these days, but still.Oh, I'll be watching the feeds, though.

so they filled the house with all pretty people this time, and only 1 person over the age of 30, looks like a boring season.

Yeah, what's the deal. They should just call this Real World CBS or something. You'd think they would've learned that people like Tricky Dick are a lot more interesting than people like his daughter.

You have to remember this season was pretty-much rushed into production due to the writers strike. They probably grabbed the first 16 people they saw. But it looks to be a short season - 8 weeks - if they stick with evicting everyone in pairs.

Reality TV is crossing over on itself since the older woman in the series, Sheila, the former Penthouse Pet, was also on "Scott Baio is 45 and Single." She was one of Scott's ex-girlfriends - he apparently dumped her for Pam Anderson.

I have watch Big Brother since Season 1 but will miss this season. Its too bad that they had to put this on now to fill in for a lack of programs due to the writer's strike. There are too many other programs I watch while this will be on.
Tuesdays opposite American Idol - won't do good.
Thursdays opposite Lost - won't do good.
Sundays - not sure what's on at that time.
I watch too much TV now and won't be taping this show to watch at another time. I like it better on in the summer when nothing else was on.

I think I remember reading that the schedule would be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday. I can understand thinking that the program would tank against American Idol, but honestly, American Idol is already on and a monster. They aren't trying to compete against it. They are hoping to pick up any of the people who don't watch American Idol (like me) or anyone who may be tired of American Idol.

Sad that there isn't more diversity. I miss seeing the likes of Chicken George and Maurice.

I have been a loyal fan watching Big Brother. I was so mad at the last episode, that I stopped watching to write this email. As a mother of an autistic little boy. I am furious that Adam works with disabled children. To call them retards is awful; I hope God keeps a special place for him (NOT!!). The only retard I see is ADAM!! I hope that he is never allowed to come near another child again. I hope that next week that he isn't on there or I will never watch Big Brother again. I also plan to write the Autism Society & Autism Service Centers, to let them decide if this person needs to be working with our special children. I am very active and vocal with the Autism Society.
