Penn BadgleyIf you were asked "Who is Penn Badgley?," you would probably say something like "Isn't he the guy from Gossip Girl?" Yes, he is. Others would probably answer with "The curly haired cutie from The Mountain?" Again, correct. But what did he do before that? Silence would probably be the most popular answer since it seemed as if he first made his mark during the canceled-rather-fast WB's The Mountain. But what may surprise most is that Penn Badgley has been in the business for almost 10 years!

According to IMDb.com, Penn Badgley's started his career by doing voice-overs for a children radio show. His first official gig was a voice-over for the video game Mario Golf 64 in 1999! That same year he appeared in an episode of Will & Grace. Later, he appeared on other TV series such as Daddio, The Young and the Restless as Phillip Chancellor IV #8, What I Like About You, and Twilight Zone.

His first major TV role was on The WB's Do Over, a comedy-fantasy in which Badgley had the leading role of Joel Larsen, a 34-year-old who is sent back to 1981 to right the wrongs he made during his teen years. After his stint on The Mountain, the actor got a shot in another series, The Bedford Diaries. All three series were canceled rather quickly.

21-year-old Badgley also starred in various movies, including John Tucker Must Die. He recently wrapped up a stint in the 2008 rugby movie Forever Strong starring Gary Cole, Sean Farris and Sean Astin. The actor is also attached to The Stepfather, a movie about a man who is looking for the perfect family and decides to eliminate his latest wife and stepchild when they are not perfect enough according to his standards.
