Under Armour Shoes: "The Future is Ours"
"We started this thing. It's us vs. them." This commercial was a bit of a mess for me. A bunch of shots of people training as if for various summer olympic events. Setting it up like there's some epic battle looming; a competition. But who are they competing with? Nike, I guess. Honestly, I think it was a bit of a mess. Way too long on a bunch of people grunting and posturing and way too little time showing me the product they're supposed to be promoting. You know ... the shoes.

Underarmour isn't shoes genius. It's sportswear. You know, like the shirts the people were wearing and showing off while training.

Why should a TV blogger doing reviews of commercials actually know what the product is? It's not like he has Google or Wikipedia/////oh wait.
Sorry. ;)

Well be happy he is putting all the commercials into one post so it doesn't make the site look like a disaster.
Oh wait. :)

Actually, the point of this commercial is that UnderArmour is now selling shoes. Try to keep up before flaming others. Makes you look foolish.

If you can't tell what the ad is selling when you're watching the ad, it's a bad ad.
And did anyone think that the finale looked like the sinister part of the Apple "1984" ad?

The best commercial is the clydesdale horse with the dog training for the budweiser wagon.

Disagree this was a solid ad.
I suppose if you didn't already know the Under Armor brand, this ad might have been confusing (then again, I doubt you would be the type who buys "high performance sportswear")
But for those who are at least aware of the brand, this ad continued to push Under Armor as the edgy, cool, hardcore brand (as opposed to the generic Nike)

It did what Under Armour ads do, but the guy at the end had me rolling on the floor. In general, I'm Nike for performance and other companies(Asics, New Balance, Under Armour, Adidas) for training. Nike products are good, but they aren't always good at holding up.

Who is the athlete who says “You are the prototypes, the future is ours!” in this commercial?
