Tide: "Stain"
As commercials go, this one wasn't too bad. I mean, it was an effective ad for the product. This guy is on a job interview saying all the boring things you usually say about yourself in a job interview, how you play well with others, how you pay attention to details... um, except for that huge stain there on your shirt... which is the only thing the guy who is NOT going to hire you notices. But if you had that handy Tide pen, that wouldn't be a problem! And these things actually do work-- I spilled on my new white shirt (one blueberry!) and my mother-in-law had one, and by golly, it takes the stain right out. No, Tide isn't giving me anything for telling you that.

Some of the words the "stain" says is just jibberish, but one word is "fyra" (four). Swedish comedian who does the voice of the stain. This is his blog: http://rheborg.blogspot.com/

There are very few commercials that strike my eye. Even fewer that I remember enough to bother to Google. This one has to be one of the greats! I was rolling on the floor laughing! I loved it.
How many commercials out there are memorable but you can't remember the product being sold? This one made the point perfectly and was highly memorable. Isn't that the definition of a good commercial?
