FedEx: "Carrier Pigeons"
Am I the only one watching this commercial who wasn't worried about the huge carrier pigeon dropping pianos, or whatever that huge box was, but rather dropping... something else? I don't know that I like this commercial for FedEx as much as some of the quieter, in-office commercials. This one was too busy, too super-heroey, too chaotic. But it was vaguely amusing. No comment, no editorializing, no yelling about the pigeons and the chaos and the huge mess they have made, and the expense, possible lawsuits, etc. Just a quiet, "Let's switch to FedEx." I still haven't really seen any commercials to write home about yet.

You were not alone. I'm glad, however, that they did not go for the obvious joke of pigeon droppings the size of Shaq's socks.

Your idiots and over thinking this, this was the best one of the bunch. Relax a little, you'll see.. it's funny and on point, in a giant pigeon kind of way.

Exactly. The same thing happened with last year's FedEx ad with the caveman who got in trouble with his boss for not using FedEx when it hadn't even been invented yet! A perfectly written ad and yet it just didn't seem to win the kind of praise it should have.
This ad was hilarious and to the point. One of the best of the bunch in my opinion!
