Jamie Lynn Spears is returning for the fourth season of Zoey 101, despite the sixteen-year-old's public announcement of her pregnancy. This was intended to be the final season even before the announcement was made.The season was filmed last summer, but there was concern that Nickelodeon would shelve it due to the controversy. Since Spears announced her pregnancy, the show has experienced a boost in ratings.
I wonder if the network is even going to approach the pregnancy at all? My guess is not. If the season was completed before she was pregnant, there seems little point to it. It would only interfere with the story. They can mention the dangers of teen pregnancy on some other show.
I also don't think a network wouldn't air a season that is already paid for and filmed. The only question would have been "when", not "if". I guess this entire story proves that there is no such thing as bad publicity, unless it's O.J.

Yeah, the cats out of the bag anyway. My 6 year old has already seen the teen pregnancy headlines on all the tabloids so they might a well show the episodes they have left...

It is runored that Jamie got preggers by a big shot executive who was obviously using her. It's just appalling what these creeps will do to a young girl to keep her show.

Nickelodeon probably planned on showing the show all along, but just wanted to wait until the press died down some before announcing it.

they should still air the show because this will not be the only influence that kids get on teen sex. she made a mistake and we should all forgive that nasty little slutty whore. did i mention she is a big fat pregnant slut.
