TV Guide has posted this chart to let the viewers know when their favorite TV shows have any new episodes left as a result. Because of the WGA Strike, most seasons for this year will have to be shortened or delayed.Different networks seem to be taking different strategies with the episodes. Some shows have no new episodes left (Ugly Betty, 30 Rock) whereas some shows have as many as eight left (One Tree Hill, Lost). NBC seems to be the network which has already "shot its load" as it were. I suspect the ones remaining will be mostly used up during February sweeps.
The list is after the jump...
30 Rock: Ten episodes have been produced. Ten episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
Aliens in America: Seventeen episodes have been produced. Ten episodes have aired, so there are seven left.
Back to You: Nine episodes have been produced. Seven episodes have aired, so there are two left.
The Big Bang Theory: Eight episodes have been produced. Eight episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
Bionic Woman: Eight episodes have been produced. Eight episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
Bones: Twelve episodes have been produced. Nine episodes have aired, so there are three left.
Boston Legal: Fourteen episodes have been produced. Twelve episodes have aired, so there are two left.
Brothers & Sisters: Twelve episodes have been produced. Ten episodes have aired, so there are two left.
Carpoolers: Thirteen episodes have been produced. Eight episodes have aired, so there are five left.
Cavemen: Thirteen episodes have been produced. Six episodes have aired, so there are seven left.
Chuck: Thirteen episodes have been produced. Thirteen episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
Criminal Minds: Thirteen episodes have been produced. Thirteen episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
CSI: Eleven episodes have been produced. Eleven episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
CSI: Miami: Thirteen episodes have been produced. Thirteen episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
CSI: NY: Fourteen episodes have been produced. Thirteen episodes have aired, so there is one left.
Desperate Housewives: Ten episodes have been produced. Ten episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
Dirty Sexy Money: Thirteen episodes have been produced. Ten episodes have aired, so there are three left.
ER: Thirteen episodes have been produced. Thirteen episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
Friday Night Lights: Fifteen episodes have been produced. Twelve episodes have aired, so there are three left.
Gossip Girl: Thirteen episodes have been produced. Thirteen episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
Greek: Eight episodes have been produced. None have aired yet, so there are eight left.
Grey's Anatomy: Eleven episodes have been produced. Eleven episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
Heroes: Eleven episodes have been produced. Eleven episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
House: Twelve episodes have been produced. Nine episodes have aired, so there are three left.
How I Met Your Mother: Eleven episodes have been produced. Eleven episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
Jericho: Seven episodes have been produced. None have aired yet, so there are seven episodes left.
Las Vegas: Nineteen episodes have been produced. Fifteen have aired, so there are four left.
Law & Order: SVU: Fourteen episodes have been produced. Fourteen episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
Life is Wild: Twelve episodes have been produced. Ten episodes have aired, so there are two left.
Lost: Eight episodes have been produced. None have aired yet, so there are eight episodes left.

Smallville: Fifteen episodes have been produced. Nine episodes have aired, so there are six left.
Supernatural: Twelve episodes have been produced. Eight episodes have aired, so there are four left.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: Nine episodes have been produced. Three episodes have aired, so there are six left.
Ugly Betty: Thirteen episodes have been produced. Thirteen episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
The Unit: Eleven episodes have been produced. Eleven episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
Without a Trace: Twelve episodes have been produced. Twelve episodes have aired, so there are zero left.
TV Guide is constantly modifying the list, so check the link if you want updates on the status of these shows.
I think it will take until the May sweeps before the AMPTP caves in and realizes that writers may have some importance to the process of making scripted television. Once the scripted shows are done, then the networks can either go strictly reality TV and animation for new material or negotiate with the WGA.

It doesn't have a well-known name like TV Guide, but I maintain a very comprehensive list of shows remaining on my site. It's split into a list of shows with new episodes remaining and another list with the tv show "deadpool".
I updated it daily and have almost every show out there minus several really-bad reality/game shows.

Hey dt3, Brad copied that right off the TV guide website. I still don't get how TVS people get paid to blog about other people's work. The only original work they regularly produce is the episode recaps, which are dwindling due to the writer's strike. I have been frequenting the tvguide list for the past month now. Thanks Brent for posting your own work. Looks more comprehensive than tv guide's.

"Shot its load" -- now there's a metaphor I could've done without :-) Thanks for the link, though. Watching a new "Chuck" from last Thursday almost felt like an exercise in nostalgia. It's hard to believe it's only been 3 months, and could be many more. I'm coping by making my way through "Dexter" Season 1 from Netflix (they'd better release Season 2 soon!) and going through my "Buffy" DVD collection for the first time.

Should have said 'shot it's load of blanks', never has a network been happier to be done with their scripted shows.

And here I was hoping that someone is actually going to tell us WHEN these episodes are going to air. This list has been all over the net for weeks. It would be nice to actually have a nice calendar displaying the remaining episode air dates.

Uh, welcome to a couple of months ago? Ausiello has been updating this list on a mostly daily basis since November or December. It's the first Google hit when you search for "how many episodes left."
Still, good to bring it to people's attention. Lots of zeroes on that list. Thank god for DVRs, TV box sets on DVD, History Channel, and movies...

Actually, Bones has 4 episodes left. The 3 unaired from this season, then they'll be showing the one from last season, Player Under Pressure, that didn't air because of the Virginia Tech shooting.

And TV Squad needs to learn the difference between fair use and copyright infringement. Gee, why didn't you also copy/paste the opening paragraph Ausiello's article while you were at it?
Brad also needs to get a clue about the strike -- rumors that a settlement could be coming any day now have been running around Hollywood ever since the DGA deal was struck.

Here's an authoritative source on the rules for writing numbers: http://www.grammarbook.com/numbers/numbers.asp
And in addition to the copyright infringement, why is this blog entry "news?" Ausiello created it soon after the strike began, which would be (groan) months ago.

I'm trying hard to understand why the Networks and studios haven't found some compromise with WGA by now. Come the end of March there will be little to nothing left to watch on TV. The long term results could be a lot less viewers for TV. They sure like to gamble considering that is the possible end result. And one in the industry on either side really cares about the audience one darn bit. And I hate to see what movies will be in store for us in 2009. It's going to be ugly!
