In breaking news, movie and television studio Lionsgate has struck a deal with the WGA. In an official statement from the company, the deal was called an "interim agreement."With Lionsgate reaching a deal with the writers, it wouldn't be surprising if more studios made agreements with them so as to compete. This could lead to a more rapid end to the strike, which would make me much happier.
Shows that are made by Lionsgate Television include Weeds, Wildfire and The Dresden Files. I recently discovered The Dresden Files and am looking forward to season two (although I like the books more).
So everyone can look forward to some of the scripted shows returning to television. I implore everyone to watch them and triple their ratings so it can be proven to the AMPTP that writers actually matter.

Yep, sadly is was canceled. But, maybe if the other studios hold out for a another few weeks then Sci-Fi will bring it back?
Oh, and the books are really great. So is his other series, the Codex Alera.

Hopefully someone will pick The Dresden Files and proceed with the production of this excellent show. It should have never been cancelled. What little logic they used in cancelling this show is really out there. Bring back The Dreden Files.

The Dresden Files hasn't been renewed, but with Lionsgate having a deal with the WGA, NOW would be the perfect time to do so! We haven't sent anything like nuts or rice, but Dresden has a huge following and the campaign to renew it has been finding success internationally as well as here in the U.S.!
If Sci-Fi were to renew the series NOW, they would have new episodes of a well-established series with an established audience that could be on the air while other shows are still airing repeats!
How smart would THAT be!

But, unless you want another lead actor, Paul Blackthorne has moved on. Currently in new show "Lipstick Jungle", unless they terminate his character or offered more $$$$ ? Original cast back together would be great (like Jericho), but it's been a while and would they even want to??? Good luck, loved the show, especially BOB.
