Ready for a darker, edgier, and more real version of The Two Coreys? Too bad if you're not because that's the way the A&E reality show may turn out when it returns with new episodes.
The reason? It all stems from the falling out between 80's kid stars Corey Feldman and Corey Haim. According to an entry at Feldman's weblog, The Feldman Journal, the break-up of their friendship came after filming of the show's first season ended. Now, negotiations are underway to find a solution on how to carry on with the show.
Perhaps it will go the way The Simple Life did when Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton decided to hate each other -- they filmed their scenes separately. Or, as mentioned above, viewers could get a bit uncomfortable when they see how real reality can get.
By the way, on a totally unrelated matter, Feldman says that Lost Boys 2 is moving along quite nicely. Not making fun of anything here -- never saw the film, so I can't criticize (and, yes, I am a total neophyte). Also unrelated, after looking at the promotional still, it seems that Corey Haim aged waaayyy worse than Corey Feldman did.

This show is a "reality based scripted" show. They don't go out of their way to publicize it but they don't hide it either. They set up the scenarios and then have a general outline/script for what to say in those scenarios. The cliff hanger ending of last season and the "darker" version is based in reality but it's being done to make good tv. If people enjoy it then it's smart on their part and why not?

Considering the quantity and variety of drugs that Haim has done, eventually having a stroke, it's not surprising that Feldman looks better-preserved.
