Every week, TV Squad offers you a crop of the latest TV spoilers via the Spoilers Anonymous feature. Even if a lot of shows and fans dislike spoilers, no one can argue when I say that spoilers have a definitive impact on the TV world. When a bombshell such as the Lost fast forward gets leaked, a buzz is generated: people talk about the show and the validity of the spoiler at the watercooler, on boards or in blogs. Spoilers give you a glimpse of what's to come, allow you to come up with your own theories, get you excited about an upcoming episode or turn of events, etc. Here is a list of the best and/or most talked about spoilers released in 2007 via Spoilers Anonymous or special spoilers articles here at TV Squad.
A lot of casting spoilers were given over the summer for FOX's hit series 24 but the most jaw-dropping one was the fact that Tony Almeida would be back and be a key player in the new season. Sadly, we may have to wait for September 2008 to see this storyline unfold.
Back in mid-January, we released the news of Starbuck's desmise on Battlestar Galactica. This spoiler was so juicy that it eventually became one of the most talk about news in the following months.
Bones fans do love their spoilers and the one they were waiting for was eventually leaked: a Booth and Brennan kiss.
Brothers & Sisters may not be one of the most talked about show in the spoilers world but when the news that Justin would be wheelchair-bound when coming back from the war leaked, the Internet started to buzz with theories as to what exactly happened, if he would walk again and if he would get addicted to pain killers.
The announcement that Grissom and Sara would be outed as a couple when the latter would go mission had a huge effect on CSI fans so did the confirmation that Sara would officially leave the show in the fall. Elsewhere in the CSI world, CSI: Miami fans were left wondering how it was possible to have Speedle show up in two episodes (the explanation as to how was eventually leaked on the web) and with whom Horatio had a son.
Desperate Housewives fans rejoiced when it was confirmed that Susan and Mike would wed in the season finale. A few months later, they started to dish about the arrival of a gay couple on Wisteria Lane. The addition of the Mayfairs shook the fandom and had people speculating about anything and everything concerning this new family and their secrets.
After months of being apart (to fans' disappointment), it was announced that Luke and Lorelai would kiss in the Gilmore Girls series finale!
Grey's Anatomy spoilers were some of the most talked about this past year. Some of the biggest ones were: Izzie and George falling in love, Burke leaving the hospital (after Isaiah Washington was fired), Addison leaving Seattle Grace to work in California (aka Private Practice), the return of Ava, and the addition of a new nurse that would hook up with Derek.
Heroes is another of the most talked about series in the spoilers world. The most jaw-dropping and/or buzz-worthy spoilers this past year were the numerous reports that series regulars and recurring characters would get killed off, the information that the "bomb" would go off in the finale, the addition of new series regulars such as Kensei/Adam and the twins, and the casting of Kristen Bell.
A few Lost bombshells were dropped in March: the word that an upcoming episode would confirm that Jack and Claire are related, something fans had theorized about for months; rumors about Charlie dying, and Paulo's death (it wasn't clear in March that Niki would also die). Other big Lost spoilers dropped in 2007: the flash forward, Michael's return in season 4 and the Oceanic 6 (aka Sun, Jin, Kate, Jack, Hurley and Sayid).
In the Smallville world, the biggest news of 2007 was the fact that contract negotiations with Kristin Kreuk were not going really well over the summer and that there was a big possibility that Lana would not come back to the series. This news split the fandom in two: those who were happy that Lana would be a goner and those who weren't. The latter group got its wish granted and Kristin Kreuk came back to the series. The addition of Kara/Supergirl also made waves so did the news that Pete Ross would resurface as a freak of the week for one of the 2008 episodes.
The addition of two new female characters on Supernatural had fans be angry and protective of Dean and Sam.

I'd have to go with the flash-forward on Lost. It was the biggest moment in TV this year and having a detailed version leaked onto the web early had people refusing to even go onto the internet for almost a week, as I did. That spoiler messed with alot of people, whether they believed it or not.
