First, let me admit that I did not watch CBS' Jericho beyond the first episode. I had various reasons not to watch it beyond the premiere, one being that I simply can't make time for all TV series in my schedule, even if said series are gems. That out of the way, I just watched the preview for Jericho's second season and let me tell you that it piqued my interest enough to put a note on my calendar to watch the show's season premiere on February 12.
Since most TV networks will air reruns or reality TV in February, Jericho fans should start a new campaign and get as many non-fans as possible to watch the preview in order to get them interested in the series and, in the end, tune to CBS on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. If it worked on me, it should work on others, no? Plus, it may help bring in the needed ratings to secure a third season.
The rocking preview, featuring The Hives' "Tick Tick Boom" song, is fast paced and seems to give a good glimpse at the seven episodes of the upcoming season. I was particularly surprised when I saw the new country flag for The Allied States of America. Talks of conspiracy and exposing the truth also helped pique my interest.
Jericho returns to the small screen on Tuesday, February 12, at 10 p.m. on CBS.

OMG that preview just got me so pumped.
It looked awesome lots of action.
I will be severely disappointed in people if they choose to watch something else Tuesdays a 10.
Jericho was the best new show last season with the most compelling and intriguing story. It didn't deserved to be canceled and i'm glad it's coming back if only for 7 episodes.

I've been a roller coaster wactcher of "Jericho". I saw it when it first premired and the series premire was really intresting. I continued to watch after that and some episodes were forgettable and a few were good. Nothing that quite lived up to that first episode unfortunately. While I would preffer "Jericho" to be on then another lame reality show, I wonder if they could ever bring it back to the promise of what the first episode had.

I HATED THE SHOW!
I mean I thought it was badly acted, badly written trash, that was mainly a bore.
That preview looks awesome! If they started with this plot, and used flashbacks to show the attack, then it would have never been canceled.

this show is awesome, this will probably be it's last season though because network execs know dick about what's good.

I am 63 years old, and I thought this was one of the best shows on Television. I can hardly wait till it comes back. I thought the acting and plot line was wonderful. Maybe this show needs an older audience one that remembers the "duck and cover" drills we had in school waiting for the atomic bomb to drop on us.

Being from the same era (I'm 65) I totally agree with you, Terri.
Looking back at the 1950's those drills, where you had to kneel on the floor under your wooden desk, for protection from a possible atomic attack were quite lame.

I felt Jericho had an interesting premise but got bogged down in crisis-o-the-week storylines with too many look at how the community pulls together resolutions. Once the show turned the corner from the feel-good stuff and into the grim reality of diminishing resources, city-states, community defense and militarization it began to realize it's promise.
The preview of the 2nd season looks good (Hives song not so good).

Terrific news! I've been waiting for Jericho to come back. Thank goodness so many people fought for the show. And "Nuts" to the people who don't get it.
