Some surprises when it comes to product placement successes

TrumpGuess which company had the most successful product placement on television in 2007? Nope, it's not Apple Computer, which would have been my first guess.

It's actually Tyson Foods. They got the top nod from IAG Research after donating thousands of pounds of meat to a family on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Their brand-opinion index rating was 394. This score represented the most effective integration on TV in 2007. (I have no idea how they accurately measure something like that.)

The second most successful product placement was the 368 scored by Sue Bee Honey. They appeared on The Apprentice during one of those challenges. Soft Scrub came in third place with a score of 332. That product appeared on The Apprentice too.

Actually, I didn't even know that Soft Scrub still existed, so I guess they made a good decision to appear on the NBC reality show. As for Sue Bee, I haven't had honey in about 12 years.
