Tila is a celebrity, of sorts. I mean she's a model. VH1 did the same thing, giving a rejected contestant off of "Flava of Love" her own show. Who wants to watch that though? We watched the other shows to see the celebrity personality. Doing a show like this is like doing doing a spin off for "the best friend" when that best friend of the star was only funny when they were with the star of the show.

Don't people see that these shows are so fake? After the Tila tequila finale (which I'm embarassed to say I saw the end of) they had an interview with the winner and loser a few months after the show had ended, and the winner (Bobby something) admitted he had not seen Tila since the night he won. Then they showed a tape of Tila saying she "misses him and hopes to see him soon" (yeah right).

It's literally like that episode of Family Guy when Brian went on a show called "The Bachelor" and fell in love with the hot bachelorette, and she picked him at the end of the show, they kissed, and then the director yelled "THAT'S A WRAP!" And everyone went their own way.

Tila supposedly has had a boyfriend for the past year and a half and anyone who thinks the winner of her show actually got a true "shot at love" with Tila is a freakin' moron. So is anyone who believes that was really her own house out there in LA. Bobby will never see Tila again and will certainly never have sexual intercourse with her.

CTA: oh please. Is that the excuse they're using, or are you just presuming such a contract exists? Where did you get the $3mil figure? There was no cash prize.

Notice at the end, when Tila picked Bobby, she still "you have a shot a love" rather than "you have won my love" because that would open them up to holding a gameshow for the prize of sex.

Either show me a copy of this contract signed by all the contestants, or don't make stuff up.

CT A: First of all, a 3 million dollar liquidated damages provision in a contract is per se unconscionable and would not be enforced by any court, even the wacky ones out in california (liquidated damages are where you say "if you breach this contract you owe $x."). So I don't believe intelligent lawyers (yes, IAAL) would write such a contract for an expensive TV show. Not to say they wouldn't say "if you tell we'll sue you for millions of dollars!" ... there's a big difference between a believable-sounding legal threat and a binding contract term.

Second, Tila said she had not talked to (or seen) Bobby since the finale because she was busy recording and modeling. BS. I assure you, Tila is with her regular boyfriend and will never see Bobby again. Bobby was thanked (and paid something) for participating and will never see Tila again subsequent to the finale of the final show.

As for the whole "not being seen together" okay it would be unwise for them to be seen in public, but if they were truly in love, they'd be seeing each other in secret. He'd be at her house (which is NOT the mansion on the show, jeez) or (less likely) she'd be at his. They could spend time together secretly. Tila Tequila is a D-list celebrity at best and it's not like she's got 100 paparazzi trailing her 24/7. Even if she did, Bobby could wear a disguise.

My point is, if they were truly "in love" no contract could keep them apart. Out of public places, yes, but not "not talking to each other or seeing each other for months."

Tila "Tequila" Nguyn has indeed found love -- the boyfriend she's been with for the past year or two (who, by the way, must be really cool to put up with her screwing around with all those contestants on a reality show and then claiming to love the winner).

I assure you, when they say "A Shot at Love" they mean a "chance" at love. It's a play on words and clever title, her name being "Tequila" (shot of tequila) and all.

There will never be a reality show where the winner is guaranteed sexual intercourse with the star. A chance at it is one thing. Everyone, you, me, and your garbageman, technically has a "shot at love" with Tila Tequila (or any other attractive person). You have a shot at winning the lottery, a shot at being hit by a drunk driver tomorrow, and a shot at getting lung cancer despite never smoking. It's a truism. Everyone has a chance at anything happening to them. But to suggest the show was offering true love and sex with Tila as the prize, you're simply wrong.

Shocker, reality tv isn't real. We get it, Bruce. We all knew that. You're missing the other posters point though.

Sadly, this isn't the first spin-off reality show as others have noted. This was also done on VH1 with the million of shows coming from Flava of Love even before New York. How does MTV do their ratings? Do they combine numbers from their multiple showings? If they were able to get 6.2million for a single viewing, I'm scared. If they got one person to watch the show 6.2million times, I'm sure they already require mental assistance and are locked away in a room at Guantanamo Bay. Bruce?

CT A: There are $3 million contracts to buy something worth $3 million. A contract that says "I will lend you my Honda Accord (MSRP $10,000) and if you crash it you owe me $3 million." Such a liquidated damages term is unconscionable and not permitted.

You will not hear anything about Tila and Bobby for a few months, and eventually you'll read a blurb about how they split up, their shot at love not having worked out. That will be the last you ever hear of the matter.
