The fourth season of NBC's hit reality show The Biggest Loser took a bow last night and during the finale, viewers saw some of the most amazing weight loss success stories the program has ever featured. I'm not huge on reality shows and don't often stick with them, but even I'll admit it -- this season of TBL was a good one.
The winner was Bill Germanakos, seen at right before the competition started. Over the course of four months at The Biggest Loser campus, Bill lost a whopping 164 pounds and took home the win. Let the endorsements begin.
Running in today's USA Today, Bill is already being featured prominently in an ad campaign we all know: Got Milk? Makes sense I suppose. He's now a nationally recognized poster boy for weight loss. That being said... I don't remember him ever having a glass of milk during the course of the season. If we're to believe all the product placements that The Biggest Loser features, then all the contestants ate were Nabisco 100 Calorie packs, Subway sandwiches, and Jennie-O turkey sausage links. I suppose they had to wash it all down with something.
You can see Bill's "Got Milk?" ad after the jump.

The guy looks pretty good, huh? That's the one thing that still amazes me about this show. The way some of the contestants look before and after. Some of them, wow... they look like completely different people after dropping that many pounds. Leave it to a television executive to turn a serious health issue into a reality competition.

Thanks a lot, TV Squad. I haven't gotten to the finale. It only aired less than 36 hours ago. You know...time-shifting?
I figured a site that talks about TV would be more sensitive to people watching things on DVR and putting huge pictures and headlines after cuts. Guess I'll be cutting down on visiting this site until I'm all caught up on my TV watching in the future.

It already aired, so as far we're concerned, it isn't a spoiler. It's not our fault if you hadn't watched the episode yet. We can't withhold breaking some fresh news simply to avoid instances like this. We don't actually cover The Biggest Loser, but I can assue you that if we had, a review would have been up within *a few hours* of the episode airing, just as we do with all shows we cover. We realize plenty of people wait a few days to watch a show because they DVR or TiVo it, but there's no sense in posting news about a season finale days after it has aired. This stuff is time sensitive info.

I understand your point, and one reason I do come here is that I don't have to worry about seeing Biggest Loser stuff. I don't get to Survivor until a couple days later and you guys are pretty good at posting stuff after cuts, etc. - however, you also have to understand, lots of people time-shift, and I'm sure traffic to your website is essential to what you guys do, but when your site spoils something, you might lose some of that traffic. Just food for thought...

Were the Milk people waiting backstage to see who won? They must have just bet on him winning, and planned ahead.

My guess is they probably shot a Got Milk ad with all four of the finalists prior to the finale.

Who was the good looking guy over Bill and Jim's Shoulder during their reveal party. His smile cought my eye and when I zoomed in on his face he had the most amazing green eyes. He was holding a little girl. This guy was hot.
(The twins looked good too)
