I'm definitely looking forward to Lost. The season 3 finale still blows my mind. As much as I'd want to see all of season 4, I'll take the 8 episodes in the can.
Oprah isn’t a lesbian?!?? I always heard people talking about her “life partner” so…I just assumed…wow…that’s mind blowing.
On Lost, I was really pretty disappointed by the finale so I’m not really anxious to see it back at this point. I think the whole “Locke stabs a total stranger in the back killing her because he had an SUSPECION that she MIGHT be a bad person and no one seems to have a problem with that” really turned me off. Plus you had all the fake out quotes in the flash forward like Jack talking about his father who at that point would have been dead for at least a year. Oh yeah, and who could forget Charlie’s painfully contrived death. Just shut the door behind you Charlie, then you and Desmond would have like…a freakin’ hour before the station filled with water to swim to the surface.
So my favorite scene was the last scene with the logo because it reminded me of how Lost was at one time cool…
Tom, I won't try to convince you you're wrong, because you very well may be correct. But I will offer a different opinion on your points.
1) If I remember correctly, we don't know what happened to Locke between seeing Walt and throwing the knife. Who knows what he may have seen or been told (by Walt or anyone else that appeared to him). He may have actually known Naomi was a bad person.
2) Please give the writers/creators of the show a little more credit concerning Jack's dad. I would not be surprised if a relatively reasonable explanation is given.
3) Charlie thought his death was the only way that Claire and the baby would be saved. He was convinced he had to die to make the rescue happen and was willing to sacrifice himself knowing full well he could have escaped unharmed. Now don't get me started on the actual physics of his death. Someone more knowledgeable please correct me if I am mistaken, but I'm pretty sure the water would only have filled up to the top of the hole (because after that the air would have no way of escaping).
Brigitte, your great. A daily dose of you always leaves me with a smile. Your are truely a breath of fresh air. Orginal, quick witted, and add a topping of quirkiness. (I still smile whenever I see a pineapple.) Say hi to little tree for me. I hope it's sleeping peacefully under a blanket of snow. Question: I was just wondering if you ever have a "Blooper's Show". Do you ever get tongue tied?
Dear God, Penrod, how do you stay so stoic while being treated with such ignominious disregard? Now you're a combination abacus-beachball, made to wear silly hats on a whim, whose very life is put in danger daily for sport, like a disposable Roman slave. Sheesh!
My guess is you've been reading a lot of Pushkin, maybe some Lermontov. If you don't find him too depressing, I could send you some Chaim Potok. You know, Books on Tape--I understand the page-turning problem, and we know we can't count on You-Know-Who. She's much too busy not watching TV. WE

Another day, another missed opportunity to appear before the camera, for all of us, in a Reddi-Whip bikini. Now that would be hot.

Brigitte, I've always loved you, that is without saying, but I love that coffee mug!
Can I have it? I can never find one that large and that one looks just perfect for me.
If you send it to me I'll even pay for the postage.
Thanks,
Bud

Strike baby? Is the strike to blame for Jamie Lynn Spears's pregnancy? If she was busy filming Zoey, she wouldn't have had time to get knocked up.

You are cute, but nothing really interesting is said. I guess that's the state of the internet nowadays. Yes, I'm nostalgic for the pre-video days.
