Today, we have our first, clear look at Penrod's second layer of his "hash mark" hair - representing days 41-43 of the strike.

If he has 40 "hairs/hash marks" for the first layer, I wonder how many will be required to complete the second layer? Assuming the strike continues for that long; I'm confident that it shall.

My official guess: 50.* That would bring Penrod's hair to a total of 90 for two complete layers.

Anyone care to start a pool?

1) Brigitte ended layer one on an even number, presumably for easier counting,

2) Slightly larger circumference and

3) Anticipating that Brigitte will more closely space the hash marks to conserve space and just to be more "stylin'" w/ the hairstyle.

The five-count hash marks may provide even *spacing*, but she has only a 50% chance of landing on an even number in 30-day months, less than 50% during 29 and 31 day months.
BTW: I just hate this kind of lame web nitpicking, except when I do it.

I'd wish Penrod would just stay bald instead being the new Hair Club for Men president. I'm curious to what kind of send off it (he?) will get if/when this strike ever ends...

Again, while strike news is important, how about 2 1/2 minutes without either of them for at least one day?

A TVSD without mentioning the strike is like watching the news without the weather. It's so important and affects everything relevant to the viewers' interest.

TVSD is about covering news relating to TV industry. Well, the strike pretty much IS the TV industry.

Penrod is a male pumpkin and thus, the hash marks could become a goatee or beard or start out as a mustache. So that might give another 100 days!
