When Smallville premiered a little over seven years ago, a few fans were unhappy about the addition of Chloe Sullivan, a character that never appeared in any Superman comics, movies, etc. As time went by, fans embraced this Smallville-created character to a point that they were unhappy when rumors of her being written off the show a while back were leaked on the web. Luckily, it never happened and Chloe Sullivan not only stayed on the show, got a job at the Daily Planet but was given a power.TV Guide reports that DC Comics' Superman will take cue from The CW's show and include Chloe in an upcoming edition of the comic book.
Smallville is known for not following Superman mythology to the letter so it won't be a surprise to fans if the comic-book Chloe is not 100% like the one in the TV show. Issue No. 674 of DC Comics' Superman will introduce a younger Chloe who just graduated from journalism school and landed an intern job at the Daily Planet where her cousin Lois Lane works. This not-meteor-infected Chloe will not know about Clark's secret.

Viewers aren't going to come back to Smallville, it's a disaster.
The only way I MIGHT come back is if they ever kill off Lana and Lois.

They should have never added her in the first place, so yes you easily can get rid of Lois.
And Lana needs to die, again, and stay dead for good. She needs to have her head blown off her body in front of Superman and all Superman does is go "Well finally that bitch is dead, I can go fuck Lois and Cloe is peace".

Didn't Harley Quinn originate in Batman: The Animated Series then get added to the comic continuity afterward?

I always hate it when the TV shows f with comics continuity. Then again, HQ was a great backwards addition. But, in the show, I really hate Lana and I really hate Lois. Both are potentially good characters, one killed by bad writing and the other by bad acting. I still wish they could've pulled the Lois dying so Chloe takes her name act -

Well, DC always F with their own comics continuity which is why they do a clean sweeps such as Crisis on Infinite Earths or Zero Hour.
Besides, I don't think Smallville was ever supposed to fit in with comics continuity seeing as Supes has met with several DC heroes that he never met in the comics till he was wearing the blue tights and cape.

It's impossible to maintain stringent continuity. These characters have been with us for DECADES and have to be rebooted every generation or so for a new audience, and to keep things fresh. Now, the fact that Chloe is so popular on Smallville that DC Comics is experimenting with adding the character to the current continuity of the comics is pretty cool since it's a rare thing for DC Comics to do. (Comic book scriptwriters have proposed trying to work Batman Beyond into the current Batman comics canon, but DC has refused to.)

Oreo, you are all over TV Squad with bad language and negativity and comments irrelevant to the context of the posts - use some discretion.

I adore Chloe and know that for her character to be added into the comics is an honor but...if she is not the same age as Clark and isn't even his friend then she is not Chloe. I've always loved her passion for journalism, but it was her steadfast friendship with Clark , and their working together that set her apart. The comics are including a character that can never live up to Smallville standards. What a waste.

I think Allison Mack is amazing on Smallville and also one of the shows greates mistakes. Only in the sense that she Out "Lois'ed" Lois. Chloe Sullivan acted as a surrogate Lois Lane for Clarks Highschool years, she provided that dynamic for him to play against. She did it better than Erica Durance currently does, and thats all I think when I see the current Lois.
I remember when they Killed chloe a couple of seasons ago, I was hoping her Identical Cousin Lois Lane aka ,Allison Mack in a black wig would show up to solve the murder

I second the move to kill Lois and have her cousin Chloe step up and claim the name of Lois Lane. That girl deserves the "LL" destiny much more than the present Lois.

Alison Mack is one of the only two very talented actors on the show.
I had thought that Chloe would have to die in order for Lois to avenge her death by becoming a crack reporter. I really don't like how Lois is being brought into the Daily Planet fold.

I love watching smallville, but I do have a problem with Lana as it is all the same thing!!! whine whine whine! and lois yeah she's good in it, but i believe chloe should be the LL, and people here are right in saying so, if they got rid of chloe i would have never watched this show again! so the out come of this is -
Keep Lana (although i dispise her)
Kill lois and have chloe take her place, it seems logical! and bloody right!
She's a great actress and i enjoy her more in the show.
