Really happy to see Mad Men and Jon Hamm nominated! Heroes didn't get any nominations that I can see, though I wonder if that's a big surprise after the backlash this year.

Meh. This is why they need to reform the nominating catagories for these awards. With the insistence of some in regarding dramas as comedies, I think they just need to judge shows on a 60 minute format against a 30 minute format. Sitcoms aren't dead, they are just getting ignored by "quirky" dramas.

No offense to Grey's Anatomy, I like the show and all, but it feels very strange to see it against those five other shows...especially when Dexter and Friday Night Lights are not on this list! Ok GA is fun, but it makes me want to scream when I see Dexter or FNL are missing so GA can have a place. Are these people really watching television? I know it isn't news and I shouldn't feel that shocked, but I still am everytime.
Well, at least Michael C. Hall hasn't been completely forgotten, not like Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton who are always missing.
Anyway, I'm very happy about most of the rest. I hope Mad Men gets the Best Drama Award.

As happy as I am for some well deserved Pushing Daisies nominations, I'm sad that neither Chi McBride nor Kristen Chenowith received nominations. Especially Chi McBride; he completely makes that show for me.

I am really disappointed that Kristin Chenoweth was not nominated for supporting actress. I am happy Pushing Daisies is being recognized, but I think Kristin steals the show. Congratulations to Anna and Lee.

Wow, out of 11 shows nominated only four are network shows and nothing from CBS.
As for Chenoweth, she'll get other noms, the Golden Globes have a bizarre all-encompassing supporting category.

So Pushing Daisies is a comedy? Californacation is soft porn. I liked the show, but half the seaosn was terrible.
So no Boston Legal, and more importantly no Weeds or Dexter? Another awards show fuck up I will pay no attention to after this.

First of all: William Shatner for Boston Legal.
Second: what, if not Comedy, is Californication for you? Drama? Puh-lease. It's a very long and very good dirty joke every episode. I love it.
What I don't get are the nominations for anything GA and Weeks. Damages got what it deserved, the acting was good, the series was at least 4 episodes too long but still good.
If America Ferrara wins another award I'm going to scream.

Entourage script for this season:
Billy does something dramatic to cause a problem.
Eric panics.
Vinnie acts cool.
Drama is anal over something.
Turtle tries to pick up girl.
Ari spouts a few catch phrases.
Insert random celebrity cameo.
Roll credits.
The fact that that show is on here after the season it just put out is a joke.
